  1. Looks like the western side of the storm really being affected by the dry air
  2. It looks like some shear and dry air are finally having some affect on the storm, lets hope.
  3. I was surprised Islip did not hit the 40s on September 9. They got to 50, I got down to 48 that night. As you mentioned the east wind probably had more of an affect on them.
  4. First frost of the season could be in store for our colder suburbs next week.
  5. My drizzle turned into an actual rain, .13 total.

  15. Looks like temperatures near normal to slightly above for the coming week, give or take either side of 80, at least here on Long Island.
  16. Could have 9 straight days of below normal temperatures at Central Park before milder weather moves in. A rarity these days. 53 here this morning.
  17. Wow, nothing like that here, only about 20mph. I could see the line looked stronger there.
