Calling for less than a 1/2 inch here tomorrow morning, not much different than the call the other morning but ended up with 21/2 inches. Maybe it can overachieve a little and have a white Christmas. Still have most of the snow left from the other day.

Temperatures in the towns in the Catskills already not far from zero. Would not be surprised to see double digit below zero in some of these areas. Hudson Valley will probably be zero or below by morning. I think I might even hit the single digits, already in upper teens.

Temperatures still in the teens in the Hudson Valley and single digits in the Catskills. 21 here. If the wind dies off, could be some below zero readings in the coldest spots tonight.

Yes I remember having no snow on long Island during some of those winters in December but as soon as I crossed over one of the bridges it was like another world with some snow and plenty of piles of snow from earlier storms.

Looks like early next week has 20s in the day and single digits and teens at night everywhere.

Good start to winter in many inland areas, numerous snow events and below normal temperatures. Below normal temps here on Long Island also but less than an inch of snow so far. Not unusual for us to miss out this time of year.
