  1. Could be worse. Coulda bet the Bears. Oh wait, i did.
  2. Thought i saw snowflakes before. It was fur from the squirrel my brother’s dog killed. Oops.
  3. If youre discussing model run comparisons, please post both runs so nothing can get lost in the interpretation.
  4. exposure is what got irishrob locked up one thanksgiving eve...
  5. Cuz no one comes here anymore, too crowded.
  6. If that happens i will start a gofundme for bail money after someone from here stabs the central park measurer with a ruler.
  7. I think my .6 was low. We had some pretty heavy rain for an extended period overnight.
  8. There is a difference between saying you expect a stronger SE ridge than modeled, and stating that the models show something that they dont. Whether a model forecast is unreliable or not doesnt mean you get to interpret what the models are eventually going to show when discussing what they show now. And what happened to no more prognosticating?
  9. Ill play along. Knyc: 37” ewr: 41” hpn: 44” isp 44” jfk 32” mmu: 48” blm: 34” bdr: 49” Mgj: 62”
  10. I mean, i wouldnt say no. Throw in a candy cane martini and some spiked egg nog and its a party....
  11. Ya. Never found an answer. Found some piano bars that have had holiday performances, and the same with jazz clubs. Seems theres no in between between that and the Rolfs type places that decorate but are insanely crowded all the time. The rooftop bar at Eataly is awesome, but i dont recall them playing christmas music. and we saw his last concert before he went to rehab a while back lol
  12. You cant see how a piano bar could stay in business in the most populous city in the US? I mean, i guess?
  13. Random question....does anyone know of any smaller/quiet piano bars in or around the city that decorate and play christmas music for the holidays? Not a Rolfs type place.
  14. First frozen car doors of the season....
  15. Too bad a lot of the pre-sandy posts are hidden. Some all time dewey defeats truman type epic bad calls. At least those who made their proclamations learned some humility over the years.
  16. Change what? Snoski’s post last week about not making long term predictions? Id say we all predicted that change perfectly.
  17. Or its because in the last 25 days or so you’ve already declared this winter dead, said we’d probably get snow in november, said this weekend would be in the 80s, and made numerous other guesses. So lets not pretend everyone, including you, arent here to make guesses at long term outcomes.
