    UK is stronger than last run as well, so models are amping back up after a steady southeast-and-weaker trend.

    12z Canadian has the same track and strength as the GFS, but it keeps southeast WI mostly rain.

    GFS crusher for southeast Wisconsin. A few models show a fairly steady solid snow band across the region. A couple others have only modest snow in Iowa, but it really ramps up to the east.

    Interesting post-storm pattern on tonight's Euro... has a giant bowling ball upper low dropping straight south out of Canada and phasing with some strong Texas energy.

    I finished with 1.30" of precip for the event after a nice soaking this morning from the deformation zone.

    Big difference between the UK and Euro up in Canada. The Euro becomes much more detached from the northern stream, which allows it to wrap up much more than the UK. UK Euro

    This morning's UK has trended similarly to the GFS... more positive tilt and east. UK is a total snow dud.

    This morning's GFS is crap. Energy racing eastward across southern Canada dominates and pulls the whole thing into a postive tilt.

    GFS now has an Otto-like storm developing behind Iota in the far sw Caribbean.

    The HMON and HWRF are farther north with Iota, tracking it wnw through the nw Caribbean. Their farther north initial development has something to do with that.

    The globals are not buying any strengthening.

    The 12z HWRF and HMON are dropping Eta in the 970s again. They've been going back and forth with the intensity.

    Dry air entrainment really did a job on the convection.

    UK and Euro are much weaker with Eta in the gulf than the GFS.

    Latest GFS says Hurricane Eta meanders around the southeastern gulf for a week.
