    Black ice everywhere off of Long Shoals rd. Road conditions are going down hill fast.

    12z gfs is interesting. A couple inches of snow then sleet then freezing rain back to snow. That would create a freaking glacier.

    I think we are in a much better position than currently..weak or amped going forward we still have a strong storm signal. I'd definitely like the phased part but I wouldn't mind a two small storm setup either.

    Things still look great to me. Snow should come in This late afternoon through tomorrow morning. An advisory should be put out this afternoon. This weekend looks like a mess but the storm signal is there and I'll be happy with any wintery precipitation we get.

    We are at 45 here with full sun. Temps should start to fall pretty rapidly today. Going from mid 40s this morning to low teens in 24 hours and snow.

    No thread for my vote. Things can dissolve within 3 days of a storm hitting. Creating a thread would be the kiss of death for yall in my opinion. Especially this early.
