  1. Ashe I think you are right. The NWS just issued a warning for the mountain side of TN. I think our warning will be coming very soon.
  2. Lol Ashe your comment was fine. You may be right. They may forgo a watch altogether and just put up a warning for us.
  3. I think they will go with a wsw but the models just seem to be latching onto things do late that they are in no hurry to cause public panic.
  4. Yeah they will be tweaking the forecast which they already have for my area but im thinking they will wait until 6 or 12 to put out some kind of advisory or watch.
  5. They are giving time to look at todays runs. They are always super conservative anyway.
  6. Yeah was just saying that in my forum. That is a significant jump north.
  7. The Euro just caved to the NAM and GFS. took a significant jog north with precipitation. All good trends.
  8. Well we have the model runs tomorrow but as of right now I like the outcome for us. Its getting down to what the short range models say over the globals. We will see but I think we end up with a decent event from all this.
  9. I bet! Probably just seeing snow falling will be a great thing. I do hope yall score but you and I know that we have seen this song and dance many times.
  10. I will say down east needs to be careful. I've seen snow maps galore to only be too warm at the surface for a lot of folks. I would be leery if I was outside the mountains...
  11. Heck in my opinion if we get a widespread 3 to 4 inch snow then a lot of us will be happy the way this winter has gone.
  12. Haywood does great in these events. If you haven't noticed we have been in the bullseye for the mountain snow maps. Really all the mountains will do well I think.
  13. Again even after the main batch of moisture an upslope component will kick in and maybe squeeze out another inch or two also as the NAM is showing.
  14. Snow totals went up this run again with this latest model output.
  15. We are still solid at hour 51. A large swath of snow over the area.
  16. Hour 45 things are still progressing. More moisture breaking out across TN and the Carolinas. We still look good.
  17. On the latest NAM moisture starts to break out around 6 am Thursday.
  18. Also looking at the mid to long range EURO things really dont look bad at all.
