    Yeah an absolute banger of a day! Current temp is 54 degrees. Ian's track to me is still up in the air. So many variables come into play. But this weather this week is unbeatable besides a raging snowstorm. I echo Ace that there are going to be some frosty spots this week. Leaf season will be full bore after this week.

    This week looks like perfection! Still a lot of uncertainty with Hurricane Ian. When I left the house at 4:30 the current temp was 48. A refreshing morning.

    Also this cool down is going to be very impressive. We are going to be some 10 to 15 degrees below normal. Some could see clear sky highs in the 50s and lows approach frost temps. That would definitely be something.

    The Euro has been very consistent in taking the low of Ian right around us or right over us for several runs now but still tropical systems are a completely different beast to predict.

    This disturbance that has and is moving through was not supposed to be this far south. Interesting we have had a passing shower today. Had a low of 42 before the clouds moved in.

    It's been minute since we have actually had a near normal September around here.

    Just barely messed the 30s this morning. Had a low of 40 degrees.

    Current temp is 43. We will see if I lose another degree or two. A beautiful morning out but time for bed.

    Temp down to 50 already. Can we make a run at the 30s tomorrow morning? I think so.

    Yeah we are starting to see a lot more color at this elevation as well. Was noticing that today while watching a lot of leaves coming down with these winds. I am at work so not sure on the temp but this is a picture perfect evening.

    Yeah same here and I spoke too soon. The wind has really picked up and the temps are crashing. Down to 67 already.

    Yeah after this little heat wave we are going to cool down drastically. This is a perfect example of stepping down in seasons.

    Yeah this little heat wave will be short lived and im not even mad about it. Next weekend looks beautiful!

    Another spectacular day today! Had another low of 46 degrees with a high of 72 today with a current temp of 56 degrees.

    Down to 52 degrees again tonight. Today and this evening were absolutely stunning.

    Yeah the models have really muted the record heat that was being modeled. To me just looks like typical September weather really. Some cool days, some warm days...

    The last several model runs are severely muting the heat done that was supposed to be. The GFS has a bit of heat going over the top of us but nothing that stands out to me as being a huge heat wave....

    A low of 47 this morning which is absolutely wonderful. That huge heat dome showing up on the Euro was squashed in Texas on the overnight run and replaced with a trough. Nice.

    Yep 53 here with the windows open. I absolutely love this time of the year.
