    If the air temp is still forecast below freezing we will still have problems - just not all snow due to the mid levels.

    That said, I wonder if this will go too far north despite the other models. Will track - wish was on Christmas instead.

    Tonight’s GFS kept Christmas hopes alive. Maybe this season things will trend in the right direction more.

    I’d say about 6 inches here. Was a fun storm, looks very scenic for the holidays and was a nice change to track something get so much better.

    I think your posts have been very reasonable. I don’t understand if either. Yes, cautious posts are fine but to outright weenie or dismiss seems too much.

    Friday’s still hopeful for a light accumulation. As said above, hope the pattern stays active.

    Got to see a bit of snow that covered roofs and a very light coating on the ground. Mainly rain with a little ice earlier.

    My ideal would be snow and cold for one season - then the rest of the year with temps like today, plenty of sun and just enough rain to not drought.

    Yep and now watch out in NJ. Tornado warning for Ocean County until 11:30.

    I was barely out of the 2 tornado warnings. Did get wind, very heavy rain and some lightning.

    Exactly - not much middle ground.

    I had a strike shake the house when the main storms weren’t even here. Then very heavy rain and some garden variety thunder/lightning later.

    Thanks for the clarification and I’m glad. Keep up the good work being on top of things for us. We need the NWS to be strong.
