  1. From yesterdays record 4.46" of rain here...Had no power for about 9 hrs... Some of these numbers are rough estimates due to power problems. Heaviest rainfall in 15 min. was 1.40" , 40 min. 2.74", 70 min. 3.46", rainfall rate max 13.09" .
  2. My davis gage and my manual gage were almost identical after 4.43" of rain...pretty good calibration ☺
  3. Wow finally made it to my station...Total of 4.43"...Still no power...Will post more data in a bit.
  4. Best storm I've seen in awhile...Im not at my station right now but had 1.39" of rain in about 15 minutes before power went out...Best lightning and thunder in awhile also.
  5. It's insane. I'm sitting in my mailtruck with 4 blocks still to deliver in the Arden Heights section. Its been thundering and lightning non stop for the last 40 minutes and absolutely pouring buckets for the last 15. Power out in Travis.
  6. Over 1" of rain in 15 minutes at station west shore si...couple miles east just 0.10".

  8. Have had about 2.50" here last several days...pretty much in line with model projections up to this point for my area.
  9. Only rain here today was a 0.08" shower at 2 am, otherwise an 83/74° temp split muggyness.
  10. Monthly temp departure here thru yesterday is +0.8°...Rainfall of 3.25"....One interesting stat for my station is my avg July rainfall...I have 37 years of record and it's at 5.16". Any other nearby stations have a 5"+ monthly avg?
  11. 82/73 temp split today with 0.35" of rain, and 2" for the event.
  12. My station has had 13 days this month where the dominant wind direction has been onshore.
  13. 80 degrees for the high here today...0.72" since midnight with some heavy showers now in the area.
  14. Totals really jumped when you cross the river into staten island and head east...I measured 55.4" here...The 3/21,22 storm was one with the higher totals here and less west...Was one or two more with a similar gradient.
  15. Waiting for the showers...enough sun to hit 93 currently.
  16. Made it to 93° here yesterday...only got down to 75° this am.
  17. Heavier rain keeps managing to skirt around my gage but 0.30" so far nonetheless.
  18. Last three days very similar here...Onshore flow, afternoon temps pretty steady in mid 80's...quite comfortable.
  19. Yeah had around 23" of precip here from Feb- May.
