    13.31" of rain here past 33 days...looks like an extended dry stretch coming up after any scattered additional showers this pm.

    Heats coming next week but we've had a nice break, last three days here could only manage 69, 71 and 73 degree high temps...Nice and comfortable thru the weekend also after tomorrows brief warmup.

    If people don't know what a forecast such as..." Partly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms " means...then that's their problem and not a busted forecast. I will say that I was never a fan of using % chance of in a forecast...think they should be more word specific.

    Most stayed n of me last nite, just 0.21" total and 4.50" for month...likewise my wettest Aug was 2011 with 21.53"...had 25.50" during the 30 day period from around 8/5 - 9/5.

    20 90+ days here so far this season...that's about normal for the entire season...looks like a couple more in the near term before we cool down.

    84° high today...T storms around but only 0.05" here.
