    Made it to 96 here today after am low of 79. DP's have been pretty steady around 70 all day.

    Cooling off more slowly tonight...76° still at 3am with a light sw wind.

    Did make it to 95° after am low of 69° ...dews mainly around 60° during the day. Yet to really have one of those truly sultry oppressive days this summer...the kind with mid upper 70's lows and mid 90's highs with uncomfortable dps thru out the day.

    Weak synoptic flow so temps/dps jumping around with the subtle wind direction changes.

    Only made it to 76° with the strong onshore flow.

    Yeah and just the reflected and radiated heat from the roads/runways...no wonder they don't radiate.

    You think that's a good spot for weather equipment? surrounded by roads/runways within several feet, with a building close by to boot.

    It really only is a problem in the warm season when trying to quantify heat with its shading problems...at other times it's fine for its UHI environment.

    87/67 temp split today...low humidity, just great mid July weather.

    A +5 degree departure in July would be near record territory.

    Up to 91 here now...little higher than expected... DP is lower though at 62.
