    That deescalated quickly... hoping we get a pivot and some new bands to set up over the city to make a run at 20". Otherwise guessing we are sitting near 15" based on the 13.3" at CPK earlier.

    Just measured 9.5" of pure powder on the ground here on UWS. Back inside now, I'm hearing what sounds like a few pings on the windows and air conditioners.

    Indeed we are. Had 5" on the ground in Manhattan about 7 AM. Really cranking now and we've just hit about 1/4 mile viz.

    Pasting this as a reference for later. The shadow of a building a few blocks away is exactly 1/4 mile. Been watching the curtain draw down on it the past 15-30 minutes.

    Last 4 runs of the NAM for 18z tomorrow. Really trended to hanging that low back.

    From about an hour ago when I measured 5". Snow has picked up substantially since then. Great snow growth.

    Measured 5” OTG on grass on Riverside Drive at 8 AM. Maybe a hair more. This is sticking measuring tape into the snow.

    The WSW is for 16-22. OKX has 21” for KNYC in their graphics.

    NBC4 also sticking to 8-12 in the face of a WSW for 14-18. That takes guts.
