  1. Apparently we decided to jump straight to October...
  2. Sure looks like it. I have been scanning the skies out of my window today trying to find one
  3. Got smoked with 1.08” of rain in about 30 minutes earlier.
  4. Would be the only part of the sub with any action for the next 10+ days.
  5. Looks like a docile entrance into August next weekend. Top shelf weather in order.
  6. Normally I wouldn't mind dry and mild, but I need a lawn in order to get my final occupancy permit on my new home (which is dumb, but i digress). So I am going to be wasting money watering some dirt until the grass comes in.
  7. For sure, already in full swamp mode. Surprisingly that line is still chugging towards NW IL
  8. Real good shots of the overall structure at the end of this video.
  9. Yeah been parked over me for over an hour. Give me this kind of pivot in the winter months
  10. You aren’t kidding. Getting the old tropical style fire hosing right now.
  11. Actually I think he was quite polite. I would have used a much more crude term.
  12. A bigger sample size will show if it is truly effective, and should show potential side effects. But 100% rate of antibodies is great news any way you look at it
  13. What was the language on the tornado warning? Forward speed of 1-2mph?
  14. Broad rotation just went overhead here in sycamore. nothing exceptionally noteworthy but a nice wind punch followed
  15. That area has a strange look on velocity at the moment.
  16. Trailing cell may follow 88 all the way in
  17. Lining up nicely to get smoked by the earned cell near Rochelle
  18. Yeah I am expecting to be cleared out nicely around the noon hour. Plenty of time to crank before initiation.
  19. Going to be a line of significant rain totals from Peoria to N Burbs. Some serious training in that area. Meanwhile, my back yard has been dry all day.
  20. Quoting an old reply here, but I also filled out the survey and in general favor a "blend" of the two options. Continue to use the advisory as that is an easily identifiable indicator to the public that the weather event warrants at least some attention. However, begin using plain language in the advisory text. If those who view the advisory have a jargon free summary of what weather to expect, I feel the advisory will be better fulfilling its purpose and the elimination will be unnecessary.
