    Sorry for not being around yesterday for the event, it was a bit busy here at work. To recap the event tornado wise as of this moment though: EF2 Williamston that was rated an EF1 in Fowlerville once it got into DTX's CWA EF1 Comstock Park EF1 Belleville EF1 Newport EF1 South Rockwood EF1 Gibralter EF0 Canton Not confirmed yet but will be is a tornado near Milan, I have seen drone images from that, concentric path through the fields near US23.

    Yeah there was nothing when I went to sleep and then all hell broke loose apparently.

    The NAMs are pretty good as well, NAM12 has nearly 5000 J/kg SBCAPE before storms form around 00z.

    Its not a gotcha, I just don't see how its possible.

    Tomorrow looks legit, I could see MDT level output especially if the HRRR is right. If we don't get any junk convection over IL tonight, our atmosphere is going to be jet fuel tomorrow, even with it the 00z HRRR is gas.

    Oh right, lightning doesn't travel 5 miles, silly me I forgot. It's not like all the storms last night didnt have a ton of lightning everywhere including massive CC spider lightning.

    The airport got over an inch of rain with several thunderstorms, there is no way you were missed.

    If Friday night ends up being the 1-2" of rain here we might be running into issues, we are already well above normal for the month as of 4PM and we are still getting storms now.

    As for here, one of the busier days I have ever had and it is still ongoing with the current storms passing through. It was a complete whiteout of rain when the gusts came through, 67 beats the 63 I had last week as well.

    Judging by how widespread the rain and storms were there in GRR's area I have a hard time believing you didn't get a good thunderstorm
