    I would imagine. I just think there is probably a temp where it goes from being soaked to stopping sweating and danger time.

    Cannot imagine being a firefighter in that environment though DP's are in the 40's so its not as bad as it may look.

    Yea, I guess but I do not remember the GFS showing heat waves for too many runs in a row yet. The EC has. The GFS cold bias has been its strength so far but as you pointed out, we are still above normal at MDT for the month so its not really been cold...just stretches' of above normal followed by the opposite.

    Because the LR and MR GFS is actually right most of the time now. More fun to follow when the rug does not keep getting pulled out. Otherwise I take blame for the noise. But all I have to do is point out a statistical anomaly and @Mount Joy Snowman will turn this thread on its head!

    The new GFS does form a ridge over the Midland for the weekend...which is a much drier weekend look than before.

    LOL. You might get your 80's regardless. Just no 90's at least. But as I tell Voyager, don't shoot the model worshiper! I am sure you will be able to sleep well after the EC comes out with its Death Valley forecast.

    The center of the ridge (Blue H!) never even shows on the 12Z GFS TT Panels. A bit of an east trend on our hands here. Corresponds to much more rain/cooler temps for both of us next week.

    I travel to Florida sometimes and in the summer the feeling I get when I get off the plane is like a smack in the face when the humidity hits.

    The French are grumblers? LOL. This board (as a whole, not so much here) has some grumblers. Maybe there are from France? Yea, Bradford is the North Pole of PA :-).

    Hello, Your temps are close to ours this mid week. A bit colder under 40 though. We had at least one town in PA, Bradford, get to 36 this AM. Some of us are loving this weather.

    Should I change my location to Death Valley, PA? :-). That was last year though...this year has been much better.

    You mean putting a weather station directly below the Eastern side peak is not a good idea? The rainshadow effect helped exasperate the great 2020 Drought in the 'Ville.
