  1. Although aimed best for our Western PA friends, this trough will do just fine to allow the weekend to not be scorching and the rain to be gone before Saturday since it is transient and not wound up like before. That movement does mean Monday is already starting to heat back up again.
  2. The GFS has the Palouse (Credit to @Mount Joy Snowman) getting into the 110's for 7-10 days straight.
  3. Parka's anyone? (This is rain cooled though).
  4. Down in Hanover and it's raining enough to have wet streets. A bit surprising.
  5. It's a complete reversal from its frying pan runs yesterday. Seems the 4th is up for grabs with no sight of consistent modeling.
  6. If we have to pay for what will probably end up being a plus 4 June departure, I am calling foul. Last June was much cooler. Only 4 daily minimums stayed 70 or higher last June. This June may end up with 8 or 9. Already 5.
  7. Or is injured. The Haskins project does interest me. Brings a spark to Heinz even if just as a potential replacement for injury.
  8. Dwayne Haskins predict....24 TD's thrown this year?
  9. I think the PBP's have been more intense the last few weeks than many winter weeks. I guess you have me and our guest lecturer from Pitt to blame. I feel bad for the people who do not WFH and come to the thread and see 3-5 pages of PBP in the summer. LOL
  10. I did not even look at the apparent weather as I knew it would not be great. Bad "trends" today. Need that front/trough to clear for us to have a good, comfortable holiday.
  11. I have the one side of my yard which was completely redone with sod and that is doing "ok" but will probably be suffering by this time next week. The other side is the original grass when I was here and its doing fine as it has a lot of shade. I do not think I lose my sod/grass this year but its probably going to yellow and stop growing for awhile. Pretty much anyone's yard in full sun is turning in the next few days out here.
  12. Sigh, EC is following the others leads and retrograding the trough into the Midland now.
  13. Still just 73 here. The pattern this year has really favored my locale during the Spring and early summer.
  14. Everyone probably has their own meaning and story behind why they giggle when they say it. The Palouse is the more refined area of the season. I actually just spoke with a friend who lives on the west side of the Cascades, still remote but not in the 120+ area, and people there are freaking about about the 95-100 possibility there so folks on the East side are surely in a tizzy. Lots without A/C.
  15. In about two weeks your post may be "Just hit 69 for this first time in two weeks" :(.
  16. I hope you do not die. Both for your own good and the prospect that suggests we may get those temps.
