  1. I could not say anything about Pitt since your guys SB resume is as good or better than Dallas.
  2. I have had two done. One was when I was younger and one for the 50ish thing. The inconveniences are definitely worse than the event. I hate jello and that ilk of food as well.
  3. The burger (impossible burger for me) tastes incredible after not eating for 24-36 hours.
  4. Philly cannot win that many additional Super Bowls in one day to match the 'Boys' so cannot get the exact feeling.
  5. Kind of like getting that 10 year colonoscopy in and then heading out to Red Robin for a burger and unlimited fries after its over.
  6. MDT is going to spank MCO today. May be double digit higher. But your point about last June. Take a look at the temps. The lows last year were frequently in the low 50's to mid 60's and it just cannot be that humid with lows like that. Only 3 days 70 or above for lows. This June we have already have 8 days where the low stayed above 70. Did anyone think of the fact that most stayed inside much of last June?
  7. There were a lot of days where we talking about possible low record maxes and then in reality the temps got 5-10 degrees warmer than thought either due to midnight highs or the models being too low. The midnight highs have a lot of say in this. At least 2 or 3 days we had great weather in the 60's but the high that day was 75-80 because of the midnight high. With all this said, 10 days in the 90's not very common at all.
  8. I think some perception was based on lower forecast numbers on models turning into higher numbers when the actual days arrived. 10 days 90 or over out of 30? That is pretty significant.
  9. I am not sure about individuals but I think MDT goes 98-100 unless a lucky storm heads their way.
  10. Whatever has been going on this month has really favored elevation. Check out all these lower temps over here.
  11. 78 here at 9AM so we are not going 100 today but Wundermap showing plenty of 85's and 86's near Harrisburg.
  12. So a 94 or 95 on tap today (in between hours). Latest HRR has its first LSV 98 showing.
  13. Hey, I know you said the HRRR over does your area a lot but over here it is hinting at a 100 for MDT today. I think I saw 97 and 98 on two different runs. Has you mid 90's.
  14. I will save that and try to remember to use it. I usually go to the NWS CTP site and manually check year to year.
  15. Great, thanks. So probable number 3 hottest all time. 1943 is almost surely out of reach. That list goes back to 1888 and 6 of them are from the last 3 decades.
  16. Some have but MDT has not. Which brings into question all their records again. The lowest temp they recorded was 53. But I agree its been a month of extremes for those of us with the colder nights...see if Jones wants to track pre 80 June's and see where it ranks. As of now it will probably rank as the second hottest June since 1980 (1994) unless the departures are so extreme the next two days that it makes up 1.3 degrees and passes 1994 to become the hottest.
  17. 96 at MDT yesterday and a good chance it breaks 90 the final two days of June. Will give them 1/3 of the days in the month at a 90 or higher. We have been talking about heat waves. The whole month has been an on and off one. May we never get a June this hot again (unlikely but can hope).
  18. That has been the vein of the PBP's the last few days. When does the trough carve out and move over us. Trend has been for it to stay to our west more and more.
  19. Yea, that is too much over a shortish time frame. The ULL low on the new EC is even slower (as Losetoa6 said) and dug more so it is now under us and puts us in the path of big rains as impulses come at us from the S/W Fri-Sun.
  20. Jealous. Get away and savor life with no work.
  21. I assumed as such but putting it in writing made me follow it. I was never a believer in it but when I looked into a few weeks ago it did great. With that said it actually rained quite a bit today not far to your south in the mid afternoon but that was not Future radar's time slot for the rain so no credit there. LOL. Parts of/near Pine Grove Furnace park had over 1" today.
  22. I went back 20 more years to 1980 and 1994 is a major competitor to holding off this June as the hottest ever at MDT. May need @Jns2183 to see if he has stats back father sans me going through them one at a time. 1994 was 3.7 above normal which is probably more than 2021 will end up and as there are only 3 days left to skew it up. So guessing 2021 will end up being top 5 but not hottest June ever. June 9.1994 had a high of 80 and a low of 48 which is a big split for these parts.
  23. Well you are way behind and so I hope something pops tonight. Help get through until Thursday.
