  1. LOL, your posts show pain and suffering in your writing.
  2. Meso time. Nam is closing off the ULL in the base of the trough over Ohio Friday Afternoon. Only going out to 84 it does not show the weekend but does suggest Sat would be unsettled.
  3. Over here there are some VERY high altitude cirrus type clouds to my west over near where route 81 and Greencastle meet. 99% clear.
  4. Some are going to be at or over 95 before lunch. (You beat me to the punch on that one)
  5. Looking ahead the 12Z HRRR suggests 1-2 degrees warmer tomorrow. Has 100 in Philly and 99 in York.
  6. 81 at 10:10AM. Wundermap showing plenty of 90's in the central and eastern LSV now.
  7. Yea, last June (for me and some others) was the worst drought I ever remember experiencing. We had some people here getting mud in their water.
  8. I could not say anything about Pitt since your guys SB resume is as good or better than Dallas.
  9. I have had two done. One was when I was younger and one for the 50ish thing. The inconveniences are definitely worse than the event. I hate jello and that ilk of food as well.
  10. The burger (impossible burger for me) tastes incredible after not eating for 24-36 hours.
  11. Philly cannot win that many additional Super Bowls in one day to match the 'Boys' so cannot get the exact feeling.
  12. Kind of like getting that 10 year colonoscopy in and then heading out to Red Robin for a burger and unlimited fries after its over.
  13. MDT is going to spank MCO today. May be double digit higher. But your point about last June. Take a look at the temps. The lows last year were frequently in the low 50's to mid 60's and it just cannot be that humid with lows like that. Only 3 days 70 or above for lows. This June we have already have 8 days where the low stayed above 70. Did anyone think of the fact that most stayed inside much of last June?
  14. There were a lot of days where we talking about possible low record maxes and then in reality the temps got 5-10 degrees warmer than thought either due to midnight highs or the models being too low. The midnight highs have a lot of say in this. At least 2 or 3 days we had great weather in the 60's but the high that day was 75-80 because of the midnight high. With all this said, 10 days in the 90's not very common at all.
  15. I think some perception was based on lower forecast numbers on models turning into higher numbers when the actual days arrived. 10 days 90 or over out of 30? That is pretty significant.
  16. I am not sure about individuals but I think MDT goes 98-100 unless a lucky storm heads their way.
  17. Whatever has been going on this month has really favored elevation. Check out all these lower temps over here.
  18. 78 here at 9AM so we are not going 100 today but Wundermap showing plenty of 85's and 86's near Harrisburg.
  19. So a 94 or 95 on tap today (in between hours). Latest HRR has its first LSV 98 showing.
  20. Hey, I know you said the HRRR over does your area a lot but over here it is hinting at a 100 for MDT today. I think I saw 97 and 98 on two different runs. Has you mid 90's.
  21. I will save that and try to remember to use it. I usually go to the NWS CTP site and manually check year to year.
  22. Great, thanks. So probable number 3 hottest all time. 1943 is almost surely out of reach. That list goes back to 1888 and 6 of them are from the last 3 decades.
  23. Some have but MDT has not. Which brings into question all their records again. The lowest temp they recorded was 53. But I agree its been a month of extremes for those of us with the colder nights...see if Jones wants to track pre 80 June's and see where it ranks. As of now it will probably rank as the second hottest June since 1980 (1994) unless the departures are so extreme the next two days that it makes up 1.3 degrees and passes 1994 to become the hottest.
  24. 96 at MDT yesterday and a good chance it breaks 90 the final two days of June. Will give them 1/3 of the days in the month at a 90 or higher. We have been talking about heat waves. The whole month has been an on and off one. May we never get a June this hot again (unlikely but can hope).
