  1. Today is one of only 3 days to ever hit 100 in June at MDT so they need to make that mark for a record. Tomorrow is a very reachable 97 if the rain holds off long enough.
  2. Confirmed in person report of 101 at Mt Holly Springs. Professional weather station.
  3. 91 here. MDT has about 3 hours to make a run at adding 4-5 degrees. Believe it is 95 or 96 there now. Several 99-102's now on Wundermap. 102 is in Lewistown.
  4. It was Memorial to all. Hotels giving out refunds and the works Monday is looking pretty good across the board.
  5. LOL. No sun and fun all weekend. Just not a lot of rain over the LSV. Sunday looks like drizzle possible. You get doused pretty good Saturday. The Euro temp profiles are not going to go into any of my forecasting. They are much too warm for us being directly under the ULL. They are 10-15 degrees higher than the GFS/CMS on Sat.
  6. Eesh, Euro is very iffy for Sat. Spins up that aforementioned low later than the others and keeps the front over us. Technically the rain bounces around the LSV but very unsettled.
  7. Euro has rain for Northern LSV tomorrow. Less than .25" Then close to 1-2" for Thursday LSV/Tamaqua wide. With the position of the trough it is completely dry on Friday. Very different than the other two so suspicious of it not having a low form to our south east.
  8. All models have significant rain starting tomorrow for some then Thur-Sat for all. Just the layout of the CMC's looked a lot like that WPC map. Of interest on the GFS is a weak tropical system that crosses Florida next week then strengthens and has it's way with the Outer Banks.
  9. CMC's QPF map looks a lot like that WPC map Training posted earlier.
  10. 4 days of highs in the 60's and 70's is pretty "decent" for July. If I were planning a party I think Thur-Sat are very questionable. Sunday is iffy especially early but Monday is looking traditional 4th like.
  11. I am very interested in the continued trend to make tomorrow more interesting. If Euro concurs I think we are on. It would limit the highs tomorrow though. Monday looks really good at this point.
  12. Yea, GFS wastes no time roating that heat back in after 4 coolish days. CMC pops one of the SLP's moving to the south of the LSV and gives Eastern PA the "what for" Saturday afternoon. As heavy as it gets.
  13. Its looking likely to rain some tomorrow (hit or miss but trending up) then the good stuff Thur-Sat.
  14. The route 81 corridor out here is getting bushwacked with heat. Flatlanders!
  15. That is an especially large area of -20 to -30 departures at 500 on the 12Z GFS.
  16. Pretty impressive map for 11:30. Quite a few mid 90's
  17. Have to do something to keep the Cowboys fan club more than one here.
  18. Encroaching on 11 and 84 degrees here. At this point I am a bit surprised how low it is out this way.
  19. LOL, your posts show pain and suffering in your writing.
  20. Meso time. Nam is closing off the ULL in the base of the trough over Ohio Friday Afternoon. Only going out to 84 it does not show the weekend but does suggest Sat would be unsettled.
  21. Over here there are some VERY high altitude cirrus type clouds to my west over near where route 81 and Greencastle meet. 99% clear.
  22. Some are going to be at or over 95 before lunch. (You beat me to the punch on that one)
  23. Looking ahead the 12Z HRRR suggests 1-2 degrees warmer tomorrow. Has 100 in Philly and 99 in York.
  24. 81 at 10:10AM. Wundermap showing plenty of 90's in the central and eastern LSV now.
  25. Yea, last June (for me and some others) was the worst drought I ever remember experiencing. We had some people here getting mud in their water.
