  1. A gorgeous cool evening for the Newtown Heritage Festival. Lots of festival-goers in fleece and blankets for the fireworks last night. Incredible for this time of year. Easily, the best prolonged stretch of weather i have ever seen this time of year. Yesterday afternoon when I was grilling I went and sat down in the sun and the warmth in the cool breeze was just so relaxing. This must be what summer feels like in central Canada. Delightful.
  2. Showers last night salvaged the event here. Nothing today. .74" total. Breezy, overcast, cool today. Feels like a late October day. Love it.
  3. Well, this one is a complete bust.
  4. Gorgeous evening and morning. More please.
  5. Did not take long for the pollen to rebound. My God will the wind ever stop this year?
  6. Early morning "storms" were a bust. Enough wind to wake me, but no thunder and barely even light rain. .08" total.
  7. Scraped by the south end of cell hitting winchester. Quick gusty t-storm put down .25". And removed the facia sheething from one side of my gable roof. Sweet.
  8. We did. And it was sorely needed.
  9. .4" last night. Heavier stuff stayed to my west and east. But, a nice top-off of the tank so-to-speak. Event total 5.5".
  10. For non-tropical, you may well be right. Almost 5.2" in a single day. That blows away anything I've seen here in my time.
  11. Looks like the rains out here are finally collapsing as the stuff fires around the bay. Hopefully you guys cash in on some of that tonight. What a remarkable event for us westerners. I'll always remember this one.
  12. Torrential rain and thunderstorm now. Just blew past 5".
  13. I've never seen anything like this happen here. It's pouring again. 4.7"
  14. Over 4.5" and the radar returns south keep blossoming. If these continue to train, things are going to get really serious somewhere.
  15. Getting hit again. This is epic.
  16. Heavies just moved out. 4.1" That was fun. In the annals of stephens city: Sandy Helene May 13, 2025
  17. There is definitely flooding going on locally. 3.7". We're going to make a run at 4".
  18. This rain is tropical at this point.
  19. Ok. But you'll have to give it back to me next month.
  20. Pouring. Water running everywhere instantly.
  21. We might be ready to get rocked.
  22. 2.42". If we could get some of that stuff to the south to get up here before sliding west then we'd really have something. That area must be getting water-boarded.
