  1. The Euro Control this morning. Possible hint at where 12z could head.
  2. This morning it was packed snow and you couldn't see the lanes between 133 and 161, which is the KY state line. As of now it looks like north bound is moving normally so they must have gotten it cleared. South is still having trouble between 148 and 141.
  3. Total here for the event is 6.5 inches assuming the current light snow adds basically nothing 10 + in Western Campbell and Eastern Scott. After getting blanked with a near record warm December and it being 69 degrees on January 2nd, I'm over 15 inches of snow in 14 days with a decent looking shot to add to it in the next few days. Weak Nina+Falling QBO = good times more often than not.
  4. Picked up 3/4ths of an inch from the clipper. Light snow and 26 degrees currently.
  5. The Euro jumped from off shore to giving far Eastern areas snow from 12z to 0z for the system around Friday or Saturday.
  6. Seeing photos on Facebook, due West of me by 5 miles at the same elevation got 10 inches. 12 inches just northwest of me at a lower elevation. That band set up a few miles away from me this morning and got 3 or 4 inches down quickly and it kept them from having melting issues. My cousin at 2800 feet just up the road from me has 8 inches. I hope to hear how much the top of Cross Mtn got. It was in that western band and is 3000-3500ft in elevation. This is going to be one of the weirdest storms ever. Elevation, north vs south, didn't matter. The last change over to snow just after one, came south to north.
  7. Down to a few flurries now. Gonna clear off a spot and see if I add any snow overnight but don't expect much more. Hate it for everyone who ended up on bust for this one. I was in that boat too but got bailed out by the back side. On to snow showers tomorrow and the next system Wednesday that may work out for some of us.
  8. The clipper/trailing energy is still rolling this way too. Hopefully it squeezes out 1/2 to 1 inch.
  9. Power outages are getting widespread here. I'm lucky to have it. I'll credit last years wet snow and freezing fog for breaking out a lot of weak limbs and trees.
  10. Thought I might be done but its like a heavy fog out but with smaller flakes. Probably 1/2 inch per hour rate.
  11. 5.5 inches and slowing down. Hopefully I can add another inch by morning. I'd guess at least 9 inches fell today. Just a lot of slop early.
  12. Had to desnow my apple and cherry trees too. They were at the breaking point. Closing in on 5 inches.
  13. It's crushing here. About to have to go and desnow the satellite for the second time in 3 hours.
  14. I'm in the bright yellow. Its glorious.
  15. Reminiscent of the Weeklies a few runs ago.
  16. Thats a whole pack of all beef foot long Hebrew National.
  17. It's absolutely pouring here and has been since about 5:45. Everyone downstream of this should rack up. I've gotten an inch and a quarter in 45 minutes.
  18. Two cars on the road and this happens.
  19. That stinks. I figured you'd get 3 to 5 easily. This has just been a weird storm. I've got 3 inches, 5 miles west has 6 and 10 miles east has bare ground.
  20. That's a few miles from me as the crow flies.
  21. 18z GFS should perk some ears and eyes. Anafrontal gives a good shot mid week, small clipper gives snow showers to the east on Friday. Huge storm pops on the weekend and really hits the southern areas. 24 hr map for a week from now. There are two other snow maps before this one, Friday being minor.
  22. Heavier snow again. 31 degrees. 3 inches so far. I'd guess 5 or 6 has fallen today.
  23. Man, that pivot was rough. I had a megaband coming in from the South and the pivot just broke it up. Down to light snow for now.
  24. MRX forecast for the rest of the night for me is encouraging.
