  1. I have actually surpassed 3 slightly but it seems to have slowed down now. Maybe we can get some more later with the UL.
  2. That measurement is in the Grass. The roads have around an inch on average. It is sticking on everything. I am surprised at how fast it accumulated.
  3. What a beautiful snow. We just closed in on 3 in at my house and it has covered the roads and everything with a complete blanket of white,
  4. Just mesured in the front yard have right at 2and 3/4 inches and coming down in Cedar Bluff.
  5. Roads are turning white in the Cedar bluff area of Knoxville.
  6. This transition in Knoxville is taking its time. I am getting nothing but rain here in Cedar Bluff area. I hate the waiting.

  10. Noticed that radar just turned blue on the plateau northern border counties just above you. Hope you can change over.
  11. Things have stoped here in Knoxville. Have to see if any of the returns from middle KY can make it into the area intact. It is most likely the mountains show now. Maybe we can get a few enhancements over night. I ended up with around an inch on my car and almost that on the grass.
  12. I don't know why on God's snowy earth they would put rain in the forecast. There is zero chance that it is going to rain anymore tonight.
  13. Snowing hard in Crossville and the ground is turning white.
  14. Unfortunately the sun is shining brightly in Knoxville diminishing the chance that anything will stick.
  15. Looking at MRX radar is not encouraging right now.
  16. It has picked up a bit in the last few minutes but it is melting faster than accumulation.
  17. Here in west knoxville we had about 1 inch at the end of the enhanced line but now most of that has melted off. The rates have to be very aggressive to maintain the temps needed for accumulation.
  18. There is nothing better than getting an overperfomlng surprise event.
