  1. Those puddles just could not take the strain when the rates got heavy.
  2. Heavest snow of the night We now have around 6 inches in the grass. Have not measured it could be conservative or off the other way. We have ended up with more that I thought we were just a few hours ago. The back end of the storm has really took off.
  3. Some of the heavest rates of the night. If It would keep this up we might hit those totals that the models were puting out.
  4. With this latest band coming through Knoxville the wind is howling.
  5. Here in West Knox near Ceader Bluff we tend to get less than most areas in all events. This event seems to be holding to that rule. We might have 3 inches and It has been snowing since around 1:15. We have only had a very short times with heaver rates. ` \\\\\\\ ]`
  6. The rates have slowed down I would call it moderate snow very fine flakes.
  7. Here in west knox near Cedar Bluff we have what looks like 2 to 3 inches. The roads however are clear.
  8. Yep getting snow in the Cedar Bluff area. Thunder snow.
  9. I am glad it has become cloudy in Knoxville every little thing helps.
  10. i don’t think they are seeing anything different. They are WORRIED ABOUT THE PUDDLES.
  11. I am under a winter storm warning and my detailed forcast calls for less than one inch possible throughout the event in West Knoxville. I love how one part of the National Weather Service doesnt know what the other part is doing. I must say if that is all I get It would be on par with what has happened all year here.
  12. That trend is our friend lets hope it does continue. Let us be consistant.
  13. That trend is not our freind. Lets hope it does not continue.
  14. Snowing here in west Knox suprised to see radar continuring to feel in.
  15. Dyersburg continues to get snow any orbs ot that way? https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?x=210&y=61&site=meg&zmx=&zmy=&map_x=210&map_y=61
  16. The report of snow in Dyersburg is correct. I am suprised the cold is thick enough to keep snow. https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?x=202&y=50&site=meg&zmx=&zmy=&map_x=202&map_y=50#.YfvBcC9OmfA
  17. Got a quick half inch in west knox that got the roads mostly covered.
  18. I use to live in Cleveland and have now lived in Knoxville for 16 years. I always thought knoxville got more snow than Cleveland but since I have been here that has not been the case. My parents have had more snow than we have had at least in the last 16 years.
  19. I now have that band over my house and nada. Dry as a bone at the surface. NW events just never happen in my area Down slope gets us just as it hits the middle of the valley.
  20. That large area of snow in the band is heading right for me but I am use to seeing them go poof right as they get to my house we will see soon.
  21. Geat pics. There is nothing more beautiful than a freshly fallen snow right at sunset where everything is covered. Wow. Truly blessed.
  22. I am right in the middle of the valley the worst place to be in these type of events. It seems we do better when there is a more north component or even an east north east run that comes right down the valley but they are very rare.
  23. looks like some heavy bands coming through Chatt. Town.
