Just as I predicted earlier. The valley is totally surrounded with wsw. LOL.

The way you look at it is if models dont change it is going to be a dud for the valley but when do models not change in 48 hours with snow in the forecast.

THIS MAP NEEDS TO GO DOWN AS A CLASSIC FOR THE VALLEY AND HISTORIC FOR A STORM. GOOD OLD TN VALLEY IN ALL ITS GLORY. ALL WE NEED IS FOR THE WSW TO BE FILLED IN BELOW US.

That band just south west of Nashville just might hold together. If it does it will lay down some snow on the roads.

Dont look now but another line is coming in to Knoxville.

And as soon as they did my road turned white in west Knoxville. it was the last hurrah but it did turn everything white including the road.

I believe it has moved east of my area in west knox @ ceader bluff. I went from rain back to all snow and I think the ground level temps have fallen because the snow is starting to accumulate. Even when rates go down I stay snow..

Turning white in west Knox. Mod snow now after a burst of heavy snow. All snow under that red blob in west knox. i think it can be ingnored.

Here in West Knoxville we can’t seem to penatrate the dry air. Looks like we should be geting good snow. I remember a time when we were suppose to get a heavy snow and we ended up without a flake because dry air was never overcome. Hope that does not happen.

Moisture sure is taking its time reaching the ground. Rockwood has a ping for snow. closest to the valley I can find, Might be in the valley for all I can tell.
