Warning!!!!!
the configuration of the warning though seems a bit off. Looks like it’s moving NE while warning is more West to east
-
Decent light show getting going

I'm seeing a lot of embedded mesos, so you can't rule out one of those forcing a wind gust to the surface.
Looks like an embedded meso near Torrington

Bit of an uncapped mess right now.
Nose of the LLJ is firing off cells everywhere, so really a heavy rain MCS now.
The LLJ starts to veer after midnight, so the focus will start to drop S into SNE.
Do you think there could be a secondary window for potential severe? Some of the guidance the last few days has given some hints that that but not really sure I totally buy it. Some models give a little instability boost after 4z can’t see that happening

Yeah, well it can always be worse. Try living in eastern Mass. It's the dead zone for convection. Haha.
I’d jump into the water and let a shark eat me

When from work to BDL then went to Holoyoke and that crap died so then just turned around and went back to BDL. That crap to the west is doing nothing and like not even getting any closer.
-
I haven’t had a meltdown yet this summer so maybe I’ll just use my once per year meltdown tonight. This is such BS
-
CT always gets MLCIN
-
I hope that stuff in western CT strengthens. I’m actually a little pissed off today
-
Shear is increasing now. Could get interesting over the next several hours. Everything becoming linear rather quickly as well

Well about time to clock out and make the journey from Branford to BDL.
1) Hoping things hold off and 2) hopefully I can make it by 6:45. I'm just basically praying that some good stuff will approach (like the HRRR has been saying) around 7:00-8:00...we'll see.
-
Wish OKX did a balloon launch but unfortunately they did not. The instability is very impressive across CT but just need some stronger shear and greater forcing...which is supposed to arrive at some point but does it happen while CAPES are large?
-
How come links don't seem to work anymore?
-
ALY did an 18z balloon launch. Really not bad looking at all. Decent CAPE and good shear. Definitely an area to watch. I posted on social media a while ago but models definitely hinting at like eastern NY right around the MA/CT border for good potential.
-
I think the tornado probability of this is decreasing a bit but HRRR continues to be quite active later on. Should see some damaging storms
-
Going to try and get to BDL from Branford after work. Might even head towards Granby.

Not even a mesoscale discussion yet. Still a bit early maybe?
Yes. We really don't want things popping up this early (well if you want severe). The best overlap of ingredients doesn't seem to be until between like 6:00 PM and possibly as late as 2-3:00 AM. Butt he focus area seems to be 6-10 PM. Still torn on around 2-3 AM...really mixed signals but some of the signals are a bit impressive.

I had to deal with some credit issues that weren't directly my fault over a dozen years ago. I'm up over 800 now. You'll be fine if you stay responsible.
Wow that's awesome to hear! I got myself up from like the 500's several years ago to kissing 700 but then I noticed the significant drop. At first I had assumed it was just debt-to-income ratio and applying for some personal loans for school but I looked into it farther and saw the wording about a delinquent account. But I've become extremely responsible when it comes to finances. Outside of when I didn't start paying off original loans from my brief time at LSC I've never missed a payment on anything or have ever been late. I really want 700+ by the time I graduate in December so I can start looking into maybe buying a house or at least renting and putting money away and look into buying a few years down the road.
