  1. Finally some weather to pay attention to rather than my stock account. Wind, snow, and waves for the yoop as things get cranking later today. Some hi-res hint at over a foot if changeover occurs a little sooner.
  2. This is the graph I meant to post, sorry. Not including today which is the highest.
  3. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/italy/ Italy deaths
  4. A SIP order may take affect in NYC within 48 hours, and personally, I think the Trump administration's rush to send Americans cash right away is in preparation for a SIP order nationwide. Also think it's why he met with the CEO's of major food retailers yesterday.
  5. I feel good about where I sit. Rarely do I see a vehicle I don't recognize, and there's no reason for anyone to even come out here this time of year. All two-tracks and logging roads are still feet deep with snow. I'm set with everything I need if things do go worst case scenario in the coming weeks. Maybe even a snowstorm late week
  6. Wonder what TP is goin for on the black market?
  7. Fairly wintry like day by mid March standards. High this afternoon was 26, with winds gusting between 30-35 mph all day. Colder air looks to stay for a few more days.
  8. In a panic, if I'm clearing a shelf in the grocery store, it ain't gonna be toilet paper.
  9. At this rate, imagine what things could be like in another week or two. I hope everyone is prepared for a worst case scenario... just in case.
  10. It was a link to a tweet from Beau Dodson saying that he was on a cruise ship sick and wasn't getting proper medical attention, which he did end up getting I guess.
  11. Storm is over, just lingering flurries pretty much. Storm total somewhere between 10 and 11 inches. MQT reported 10.4" with liquid equiv of 1.22", so ratios were a little lower than expected.
  12. Wow, nasty (and by nasty, I mean awesome!) outside. Snow is horizontal, I can hear it hitting the windows. Temp is 28 but should start dropping pretty quick. Five inches away from a foot.
  13. Okay, okay... maybe a little. Perspective is everything.
  14. Winter storm warning issued for a potent, quick hitting storm today and tonight. A foot of heavy wet snow is forecast here in the higher terrain along Superior, along with 40 mph winds later this evening. Should be a nice little event.
  15. I like the forum better with Alek around, weird or not.
  16. So nice outside today. It's currently 41/29. Not a bad start March at all. Snowpack is tight...no need for snowshoes, only sink about 7 inches when walking on top. Depth at 42" on my stake. Picnic table visible now
  17. This is about the earliest I can recall that I am ready for spring and could say goodbye to winter/snow today and be fine. Truth is tho, March is still a solid winter month here with an average of 35+ inches of snow. Normal high around 29 now.
  18. Nice setup. My neighbor in Ellsworth had the same combo you do. I have a 54" Bercomac blower with a drift cutter extension that will eat through 30-35" snow effortlessly.... also have a 30" walk behind for touching up, and a blade for plowing on the other wheeler. I've invested 7500.00 in snow removal equipment living here and that doesn't include the two quads.
  19. 8-9 inches the past 24 hours with a depth averaging around 44" this morning... 3-5 inches more probably before the bands shift east this afternoon.
  20. Heavy af snow off and on all day. Starting to pick up again this evening, another 6" likely. It's 15 and windy. Must be a storm nearby, burp.
