  1. Some but the UK and Canadian went back to the north and east
  2. We should really hope for the rain because the heat looks to build next week.
  3. Went from nothing to 4 inches plus for my area...
  4. Euro is west too and slower. Most of the rain Sunday
  5. The UK has shifted west big time which makes me think it might really be a washout Saturday. GFS west too.
  6. We could definitely use the rain but I think east of 77 will see the heavy rain with light amounts west of there into the foothills and mountains. It will be cooler than average regardless with the NE flow
  7. Now we are back to this on the euro. Very tricky forecast. I don't see the rain making it this far west
  8. Possibly. The models are all over the place. Most of them still have most of the moisture to the east, but pop up storms seem likely.
  9. Just .09 yesterday and this is the 7 day rain forecast from WPC. Here we come drought!
  10. Even though my location has done pretty well with rain, many other areas near the Blue Ridge have not and most models show no rain after tomorrow for a week at least. Water levels are still at or below average on the majority of streams. I'm still thinking summer will be mostly dry here.
  11. Getting another heavy shower now. We are definitely in the jackpot for rain the past few days.
  12. Southern McDowell got hit pretty hard. Quite a few power outages. We got fringed but still picked up .43 in 30 minutes.
  13. We have had .83 the last 3 days. Can't complain
  14. Still not convinced we get much rain the next 10 days.
  15. Nothing of note here. Just .13. Don't think it will rain much tomorrow but early next week could be productive
  16. Love to see it. But there's a leeside minimum showing up still. This time of year its almost impossible for models to pinpoint totals anyways with the convective nature of storms.
  17. I think your area will do much better in this setup than areas east of the Apps and Blue Ridge
  18. Nice shower was a surprise here. We needed it. The next 10 days look very dry.
  19. We got nothing but sprinkles here. Pattern looks dry east of the Blue Ridge
  20. Models went from over 1.5 QPF here to nothing in a couple days. Just like January snowstorms boys..
  21. Although it rained quite a bit the last few weeks it's dried out completely in a few days due to the incessant wind. It has gusted over 40 mph for 3 days straight. That's rare even in Winter..
  22. Pretty significant tornado hit Virginia Beach today. Lots of damage but so far no fatalities or injuries I have seen.
  23. Pretty rare for the last day of April even in the higher elevations. It's pretty windy here and odd to see the trees with full leaves whipping around in winter like winds.
