  1. Spring peeper frogs are singing here. Earliest I can remember
  2. It's sad we have to get excited about slightly below normal temperatures in early February.
  3. It's over 60 here today, the birds are singing and it feels wonderful out. Spring is near.
  4. So that hail mary fell incomplete. Soon its gonna be March 1993 or bust
  5. What about the stratospheric warming? Too weak to effect our weather later in February or too early to tell? I feel like we need a hail mary at this point.
  6. Flurries don't count. A trace or dusting does.
  7. Odds of a shutout ATL-80% CLT- 75% RAL- 65% GSP- 60% HKY- 55%
  8. If I was in Lynchburg north I would be excited
  9. We really need to just kill this winter with fire. It's not gonna happen. The flow is so progressive, cold air never has a chance to be established. The only definite thing is tons of rain is coming. Especially GA and SC.
  10. It brings cold but its quick to moderate and by day 10 most of the cold has retreated back to Canada.
  11. Surprised it's 30 here still. Shame we have no blocking. This would have been a good storm.
  12. If I had time I would love to. Got a newborn and 2 and a half year old so I'm pretty occupied.
  13. 18 here with a massive frost sticking to everything including trees.
  14. Days 7-10 look to be when any pattern change occurs. Lots of cold rain in that time frame.
  15. I'm sure it will be in the 20s and windy for the opening of trout season in April
  16. You know it's not good when Met1985 isn't being positive.
  17. The Euro looks more like winter cancel (more like d.o.a.)
  18. 23 this morning. Damn shame it will be 35 and raining this time tomorrow.
  19. If it continues as is, this winter would be a top 3 worst of all time since I have lived here. (35 years) Even 2019/20 had a dusting of snow. 2012/13 had accumulating sleet/ice. Only flurries so far this year. The only other that was this bad was 2011/12.
