  1. Getting crushed now. Closing in on 2 inches quick
  2. We just went over an inch. The euro is showing almost a repeat next Sunday and Monday. My ideas of a dry summer may have been bad wrong
  3. 52 with heavier rates here. Only .18 so far
  4. Its 65 here. I doubt we get an inch of rain at this point. This dry air is no joke.
  5. Amounts have generally went down and there is a lot of dry air on the west side. I think 1-2 inch amounts and not as many 3 or 4 inch. Also it's going to start pretty late this afternoon or evening looking at the radar and satellite.
  6. Dang son! I haven't caught anything like that this year. South Toe has been kinda blah when I went. I did see a 26-28 inch rainbow that wouldn't bite a thing of course. I'm gonna try and go somewhere this weekend rain or shine.
  7. Catching smallmouth on anything is a thrill for sure.
  8. We still need to put together a group fishing outing!
  9. Same here plus I have company coming that day. I do hope we get a good soaking rain to get the water levels back up and fish moving. Low water equals an early end to trout season.
  10. And of course the euro came in south and slower again with most of the rain falling in our area after 8 pm Saturday.
  11. Some but the UK and Canadian went back to the north and east
  12. We should really hope for the rain because the heat looks to build next week.
  13. Went from nothing to 4 inches plus for my area...
  14. Euro is west too and slower. Most of the rain Sunday
  15. The UK has shifted west big time which makes me think it might really be a washout Saturday. GFS west too.
  16. We could definitely use the rain but I think east of 77 will see the heavy rain with light amounts west of there into the foothills and mountains. It will be cooler than average regardless with the NE flow
  17. Now we are back to this on the euro. Very tricky forecast. I don't see the rain making it this far west
  18. Possibly. The models are all over the place. Most of them still have most of the moisture to the east, but pop up storms seem likely.
  19. Just .09 yesterday and this is the 7 day rain forecast from WPC. Here we come drought!
  20. Even though my location has done pretty well with rain, many other areas near the Blue Ridge have not and most models show no rain after tomorrow for a week at least. Water levels are still at or below average on the majority of streams. I'm still thinking summer will be mostly dry here.
  21. Getting another heavy shower now. We are definitely in the jackpot for rain the past few days.
  22. Southern McDowell got hit pretty hard. Quite a few power outages. We got fringed but still picked up .43 in 30 minutes.
