  1. Let's see what the short range guidance says today. Last night it all moved NW and put the deform band through east TN
  2. Trends are not our friend overnight. Hopefully the bleeding stops or it moves back in the other direction
  3. It's so borderline here it's honestly going to be a nowcast situation I think. If we get under the heavy deformation band we could get 3 to 5. If not its likely we get mostly slop and a dusting to an inch. Good thing is.. It's a pretty quick drive to the victor tract and 3k plus.
  4. Still good for northern mountains and most of central and southern. It was a big decrease for northern foothills.
  5. It's taking longer to turnover each run but there are heavy rates and it adds up quickly
  6. Hi Res GFS looks pretty bad too through 60. It also has ice for mountains.
  7. Hi Res NAM only goes to 60 but isnt as good overall. Further north with low
  8. I'm literally 10 miles from less than an inch and 10 miles or less from 8+ on the NAM. 3 or 4 ish imby.
  9. North GA is definitely in the game with todays trends.
  10. NAM big hit for smokies and SW NC. Not as good once again for the northern mtns
  11. NAM has me below freezing, most models don't.
  12. Yes based on elevation but that doesn't always work as you said. I will take Hunters local expertise on microclimates.
  13. Thats pretty painful for the foothills but he's usually conservative
  14. Sueprised nobody has mentioned the hi res NAM. Its not fully into range but looks pretty awful.
  15. I'm still more worried about temps than downsloping
  16. Verbatim, that would be severe power outage, tree breaking snows for WNC
