  1. It will be definitely on Sunday. Saturday night is the best chance for foothills
  2. SW Va big winner this run. Some 12-18 totals
  3. The low is further west on the Euro and most of the snow is confined to the foothills and mountains.
  4. Good thing about this timing is it is overnight Saturday
  5. As you can see its further south and slower thus far
  6. Slower is not good with the marginal cold air even worse if its delayed until Sunday
  7. Euro looks deeper and slower with the ULL through 54
  8. I agree. I think I will be riding the line here with the best accumulations above 3k in Mitchell, Avery, Watauga
  9. March 2009 was a disaster here with downsloping. Less than an inch of snow while Morganton had 4-6 and Shelby had 6-8 or more...
  10. RDPS looks almost exactly like the NAM at 84. Western NC in a good spot.
  11. Yea the NAM was going to be a huge hit for WNC.. I think higher elevations could see a foot plus easy if it keeps trending stronger.
  12. I'm aware but the upper low has to be closed and quite strong for it to puke snow with this airmass
  13. I don't buy the snowmaps the Euro spit out. Temps are upper 30s for many. Would have to be some March, 2009 rates.
  14. Euro isn't going to be it. Just too warm and the low isn't deep enough
