  1. With the number of kids @40/70 Benchmarkhas popped over a pretty short span, he must be micro plastic free.
  2. Even a skulled ball that stays relatively straight leaves you better off than the chunk. It gets you closer to where your short game can come into play.
  3. My game is miles away from yours but when I was at my lowest handicap, 13, it was almost entirely due to my short game and putting. Having said that, I still think a lot of it stems from driving. If I keep putting myself in poor positions it's almost like starting with a penalty stroke. If I am in an adjacent fairway, I will struggle getting back into position, especially if there are trees in the way, whereas someone at your level has the ability to get back into position easier and may salvage par or bogey at worst where I often end up with a double.
  4. Nice video but we really want to see the progress on your garage.
  5. Yeah, hasn't been a great day. Breezy at times too.
  6. You couldn’t draw up a better stretch for a weekend. I’d sacrifice tomorrow if we could lock in a rain on weekdays/sunny on weekends pattern for the summer.
  7. I thought about you and Diane when we drove through. Big craft fair in N. Conway.
  8. I’ve only seen Lake Ontario near Toronto, Lake Erie near Cleveland and Lake Michigan near Chicago. However, the second week of June we are driving out to Green Bay through Ontario and the U.P. so we will be doing some sightseeing around Huron, Superior and Michigan. I’d love to go to Duluth and even Thunder Bay but it won’t be this trip.
  9. Still patches of snow high up on Mt. Washington but it’s leafed out all the way to where there aren’t leaves anymore. After breakfast we went over to N. Conway through Crawford Notch and came back through Bear Notch and the Kancamagus.
  10. Took a ride over to Northern NH today and had breakfast at Polly’s Pancake Parlor in Franconia. Stunning day and views.
  11. Imagine living in SLK. Climate change lengthens the growing season everywhere except there.
  12. I think it’s been pretty widely recognized that the bear population has increased significantly over the last several years here in VT. https://www.vermontpublic.org/local-news/2023-10-13/vermonts-black-bear-population-is-the-highest-its-been-in-5-years#
  13. You missed it? Were you selling s at a baseball game again?
  14. Today the picture window and basement windows were installed and just about all of the front was completed.
  15. Not really lawn related but house related. We are having our house re-sided and some new windows installed. The finished the first side today.
  16. No AC here yet. Open windows and ceiling fans are fine. I can’t install yet anyway since we are having new siding installed and the last of our old windows replaced. Hopefully next year’s project is the mini splits.
  17. I thought the same. About Schauffle and the course. I wonder if the format the LIV guys play hurts them when they have to play four rounds and deal with a cut. It seems like they have started to fade at the majors. Except for DeChambeau this week.
  18. West was best. I needed to go to Home Depot and also wanted to take a bike ride. Looked at the radar and headed to the Burlington waterfront. Sunny and 75°
  19. It’s a talking point for a part of the political spectrum that wants to boost privatization of a lot of what the NWS does. Not saying that’s his perspective but that’s where it got its start.
