    From Bethel through Rumford on Rt. 2 was pretty sketchy. Road was getting covered. Waze sent me down a side road around Rumford and there was an accident that blocked the road. Turned around and backtracked to get back to Rt. 2. We saw the backup from across the river, had to be close to a mile long. Went through @tamarack’s neighborhood. No snow by then. Stopped in Bangor for the night. North to Presque Isle tomorrow.

    Not helpful for my trip. We’ll probably leave Tuesday afternoon and drive to Bangor and finish the drive to PI Wednesday morning.

    I’m actually toying with the idea of leaving Friday and stopping in Quebec City for the night and leaving from there. I’ll play it by ear though.

    I’m driving up to Presque Isle for Thanksgiving on Tuesday and coming back Saturday. Hope the weather doesn’t get too crazy.

    No but I usually have it switched to night as appropriate but it doesn't always help.

    I hate this the most. Even in my wife's modestly sized GMC Acadia SUV, big pick up trucks behind you can blind with their lights. In my Ford Fusion it's even worse.

    I’ve found out the hard way that most of the time the brights are even brighter. I’ve flashed mine at people only to have them turn the wattage up on me.

    I just drove home from camp, which is about 1400’ between Hardwick and Walcott. The car thermo was 36° when I left and 28° when I got down to Rt.15. Going up Rt.14 through the gulf to Woodbury, the temp spiked to 41° and then dropped to as low as 23° in North Montpelier. It was cool seeing the temps bounce around.
