  1. BTV mets are snow weenies. From this morning's discussion "vertically stacked near the Gulf of Maine. Among the deterministic guidance, quite a spread in snowfall amounts exists therefore it`s still to early to talk totals...however, seeing as it IS January in New England, it feels good to have a potential snowstorm to talk about in the forecast (rejoice!)."
  2. The Rush statement said he had been battling it for 3.5 years.
  3. Happy birthday. The last sentence makes me want to cry.
  4. Not quite as much over here, maybe 2.5”-3” over the last couple of days. I did have the joy of being on the road home when the first squall came through. I’d say visibility down to less the a quarter mile at times.
  5. I think he meant that butterfish55’s friend passed away
  6. Snowing pretty good at home but it cut off pretty quickly once we hahah Bolton Flats. Roads are dry up here in Williston.
  7. I’m 44.15N. A little south of PF and JSpin.
  8. I’m with you. I’ll take anything that might make me feel better. NyQuil, DayQuil, Vick’s, Mucinex, Tylenol PM or some combination of the above. Whatever it takes.
  9. Just got back to the office. 89 was crap, getting slushy. The car thermo read 31° and was down to 27° on the way back. It was ok if you drove reasonably and shockingly, everyone seemed to be doing that.
  10. Driving back from S. Burlington, hopefully 89 hasn't gotten any worse.
  11. Talk to Alex in the NNE forum. He owns and manages several properties in Mt. Washington Valley area
  12. There are some similarities. I’ve had snow in my back yard starting around Veteran’s Day both years. Both years it got reduced to the point where a more diligent observer would question whether it should still be considered “coverage”. The difference is that this year it hasn’t been replenished as quickly. This is all anecdotal since I’m the slacker weather guy, especially compared to my NNE neighbors PF and JSpin. They could expound further but it’s not all that dissimilar yet, though not exactly the same either.
  13. That’s even more futile for you though.
  14. Same here. I actually wondered if was heavy time on the cars
  15. Lol, You’ve got a lot of work to do to become a true NNE’r. Squeaky snow is one of the small things that make it winter.
  16. Got the squall warning too. Drive through some heavy snow around exit 6. Visibility down to 1/2-3/4 mile for a time and the roads started to get pretty covered. No wind to speak of though. Didn’t seem like a true squall though. About an inch or so of accumulation at home.
  17. Don’t be so sad. You were begging for rain and 40’s all summer!
  18. Since you have already killed winter with your sled purchase, then obviously I should just go ahead and get a new one too. Might as well get it during an already killed winter rather than risk killing it myself next season! My wife will be thrilled when I tell I have to get a new one this year.
  19. Boy, you have just been a ray of sunshine lately!
  20. Nothing at all down here. I was expecting a little rain/mix.
  21. That snow machine even got over this way. It snowed for most of the morning and stayed cloudy just about all day. Not as much as you guys got but wintry appeal ruled the day.
