  1. I fenced in my back yard years ago and rented a post hole driller. That thing was a beast and beat me up pretty good. I found out quickly that they weren't lying when they named my part of town Graniteville.
  2. I'd appreciate the NNE warm season thread more if it would actually get warm!
  3. I have a push cart but I go through phases using it and not using it. Most of my golf is 9 holes and I like not having to mess around unfolding and folding it, especially when you are rushing to make your tee time.
  4. I had about an inch at 1250'
  5. We were hiking in the Groton State Forest yesterday and my son was asking about some of the old stone walls in the middle of the forest near 2000’ feet. I told him about settlers coming up and clearing the forest for farms. I the. Told him that as soon as land in the Midwest started opening up, many of them beat feat west as fast as they could. Can you imagine the look on their faces when they realized the ground out there wasn’t filled with rocks. They must have exclaimed “SMDH - Smacketh mine dang head!”
  6. I have never liked any seafood. It's weird, my parents loved all sorts of seafood and my son does too. I wish I did like it, it would make visits to the ocean more fun. Imagine having to be the only guy to ask for the chicken tender basket when everyone else is ordering the seafood platter!
  7. I ate a McDonald's Filet O' Fish once.
  8. Head east and find some Hunger Mt. woods turns.
  9. I saw someone suggest greenskeepers cut holes shallower and leave cups sticking an inch out of the hole. That way flags don’t have to be removed and you don’t have to reach into the cup.
  10. Was up in the NEK today. Lots of snow at elevation. Beautiful day to be outside.
  11. Was rooting for Fleetwood. As soon as hit hit his second on 18 I knew it was wet.
  12. This at 2600’ on Stannard Mt. On clear days you get a nice view of Mt.Washington. Looked like 3’+ up there.
  13. Some more snow pics in the Glover/Craftsbury area.
  14. It wasn’t just the ski resorts that got buried. Any elevation above 1500’ in the Northern Greens got lit up. This is looking at Burke Mt. and somewhere else in Burke above Lake Willoughby.
  15. Firehose pointed at Alburg, VT, Chazy, NY and St. Armand, PQ
  16. On the heels of the WGC and the one that Tiger is hosting at Riviera. A lot of these guys don’t do 3 in a row anymore.
  17. I was out yesterday so I couldn't watch the tournament live. I was going to watch it on replay but as soon I heard he won I decided not to.
  18. Read that. I’ve never cared for Reed and that just cements it.
  19. The putter reall let him down last week. At one point, I think I heard he missed 6 putts of less than 10'. You can't win doing that.
  20. Nice. Did 105 Saturday and 91 yesterday. Got to get it while you can.
  21. The northern Greens have gained some snow the last week or two. Was -18 when I got up so decided to get a later start to our ride. Was 0 when we left at 10:00 am. Beautiful day to be out.
  22. I remember many, many -30s in Canaan, Island Pond and other NEK spots in the 70’s & 80’s. -32 at IP this morning.
  23. It has been a spectacular day. You can really tell how snow starved we had been. I don’t know the last time I saw so many people on snowmobile trails. Not just speeders either, skiers, snowshoers and people just out for a walk.
