    Look at a map? White River Jct. If you looked at a map, you would have seen I-91 and I-89 intersect there and you may have them been able to deduce what may have been a logical route, up 91 to 89, down to 93 and back to Boston, where you said you needed to end up. Along the way, you might have seen some small, green signs along the side of the road with a series of numbers on them. The one with a 70 would be mile marker 70. I know it’s complicated but I’m sure you can figure it out.

    Regular Sears or one of the Sears Hometown stores? Those are like franchises owned individually. They sell appliances, lawn and garden stuff, and generally any of the non-clothing type merchandise.

    I was I Rutland yesterday and decided to come back up Rt.7 because Sherburne Pass was already getting sketchy on my way down. I know this is completely anecdotal but the worst driving conditions was that stretch of 7 from Rutland to just north of Middlebury. So that roughly corresponds with the same area.

    Finished up Christmas shopping this afternoon and apparently there was enough light snow to give me just about another inch of feather duster stuff. The type of stuff that puffs away with each step you take. That will put me right around 7” for a total.

    I don’t know if BTV would go along with it but I would trade the NY counties in their CWA for you guys.

    Ended with a little over 6”. Snowblowed the driveway and didn’t shoot any windows out with gravel so it was a success.

    Just looked at the updated maps, stay on 91 and go north to at least Springfield.

    Turn left and take Rt.9 towards Wilmington.

    89 was getting greasy when I was driving home around 4:00

    I was in Wallingford and it was definitely better Rutland north.

    About 1.75” here. Drove down to RUT today. Saw my first car off the road on Mendon Mt. on the Rutland side. Looked like it had NC plates. Decided to come back up Rt.7 to BTV thinking it would get better. It did but not until Middlebury. The ride back down 89 was ok, slushy but ok. Looks like it’s coming down harder now.

    I wonder why I don’t get NWS alerts on my phone? I checked the settings and that is turned on.

    I had a 100lb Lab mix and after the storm I let her out and she jumped off the deck stairs and disappeared into the snow like she had jumped into a pond.

    I’d thank you kindly not to be speaking bad about V-Day 2007. That was the biggest snowstorm I’ve seen.

    Now you’ve done it. You mentioned retrograde. Tamarack and Dryslot just tossed their Tandy’s out the window in a fit of rage.
