  1. My temp graph from earlier today. Fell off a cliff
  2. We didn't lose the pack in my immediate area but we only got a dusting of new snow.
  3. The bigger problem will be the ice rink-like conditions until we get enough snow to groom them up.
  4. Haven't heard about wait times around here but we are on auto fill. They came around the time they usually do, quarter tank left. The $3.55 per gallon was a bummer though
  5. This was issued by BTV at 5:15 this morning
  6. Don’t screw around. A messed up furnace can be deadly. Call a qualified tech.
  7. I’d think about traveling for one. Obviously depending on where it’s at and where on the love/hate index I am with the game.
  8. I just found out today that a guy that I graduated high school with is retiring in April. I had mixed feelings, jealousy because I can’t retire yet and crushing depression that I’m getting to that age.
  9. In my twisted mind, this is just Mother Nature making sure we have room for the snow she is going to bury us with later. I can hope, can't I?
  10. Was a great time last summer. Good thing you had the umbrella hat
  11. Pretty deep lake. I know parts of it freeze. I remember a story several years ago about some snowmobilers having to water skip for a couple of miles when they came across open water late at night. I think a couple of the didn't make it.
  12. Looks like I was wrong. Got down to -2.9° overnight
  13. We are still under a flood watch though
  14. I have a studs. This is the first year I’ve had them. It was icy enough Sunday that was glad. My son’s 600 ACE overheated a couple of times. Studs no scratchers.
  15. I have a 137" and wish I had a 129". But that is because I ride a lot of twisties.
  16. Yeah, my scratchers worked well. Chattering along on frozen ski tracks and such was not fun though.
  17. We mistakenly went for a ride Sunday. Solid ice made it unpleasant most of the time and then a couple of sleds had overheating issues.
  18. That’s 9.5° more useful than my -6.5°. Last below zero reading of the year?
  19. You’d be surprised how easy it actually is to be disappointed with a big average.
  20. Now we're falling into the SNE trap of reminiscing about old storms. Shame on us! We are NNE, where snow lives! We can do better and will do better! Let's go!
  21. His average is something like 180" or at least that was the CoCoRahs station near him
  22. So I wasn’t the only one a little surprised by the snow. Arctic sand and 1.4°
