I have a friend who put a simulator in his garage. We played TPC Sawgrass a couple of weeks ago. First time I’d swung a club since October. I sucked and was sore after. But I had fun!

If I thought I could ride out of Millinocket, I might try and get up. The extra couple of hours each way to get to Ft. Kent make it less appealing

How far north do you need to go for decent riding? Houlton? Milli? Or even further?

But what about the song "Over the river and through the woods"? They explicitly say "The horse knows the way to carry the sleigh, Through (the) white and drifted snow!". There are no St. Patrick's Day snow related songs. This obviously means that March isn't a real snow month

Remember those guys a few years ago who liked skiing the trees up at Jay so much that they cut their own line down to 242? I think they were fined something like $17,000 for unauthorized cutting on state land.

@ORH_wxmanis the RBOB, crack spread expert around here. He has always had some good input regarding oil prices. There was an interesting price split when I went to fill up today. Most stations seemed to be in the $4.24 range but there are a couple of full service/garages that are closed on Sundays but you can still get gas using their pay at the pump. Those places were $3.99. I imagine they'll be upping the prices as soon as they open tomorrow morning.

Yes, he goes to Bolton a lot. It’s located between Waterbury and Burlington. It has the only night skiing of note in the state. Lots of school programs go to Bolton.
