More potentially significant severe weather is expected Wednesday afternoon and evening, and an epic heavy rainfall and flash flooding event is expected Wednesday through the weekend.

A few rumbles of thunder but a very disappointing 0.3. Heavy rain events with an inch or more are a thing of the past. Whole month was just 0.86

Rainfall amounts upped to 1.0-1.5 inches -- please, please let this happen! I only have around a half inch for the month of March. Bonus if we can get a little thunder What a summery weekend that was! I saw 86 on the car therm on the PG beltway yesterday

The temp gradient between low/mid 80s around NYC to low 30s in western Mass is crazy! 80 here with bright overcast

This winter reminds me a lot of 1977 when we had a couple moderate snows adding up to 8-10" then extended cold and dry. Long cold spell with snowcover, but disappointing in snowfall amount. Now I am rooting for a warm early spring

Finally no howling wind! I am looking forward to next week's warmth which I think is underestimated -- I think we hit 70 on Tuesday. Even tomorrow is gonna feel nice with 50s and sun with light winds
