I try not to talk about to avoid it sounding hollow, but it’s been drier than normal here. Its like in winter when everyone is having a bad snow year… though you are closer to normal while some folks see record low totals over a period of time.
Can’t complain up here when you see what’s happening elsewhere. Today we got skunked though. Cloud deck and lack of heating limited instability. Just a brief enough shower to wet the pavement at the mountain. Nothing in town.
And there’s stuff behind it if it moves out. Every 15 min is like another inch of water.
3.50-4.50” town wide now. Some legitimately may go over 6” with the stuff coming in behind that.
That summer was so hot in 1873 that Abigail had to bathe more than once a week for the first time in her life. Thy stench supported sustained dews above 70F.
78F at noon up here. Forecast going down in flames at this point.
Forecast max HI here was 96F for today with max temps 89-92F.
.NEAR TERM /THROUGH FRIDAY/......Significant updates made to cloud cover for the remainder of the day which has a large impact on the expected temperatures. Mid clouds ahead of a surface boundary to our northwest raced into the region much faster than preciously anticipated blanketing most of the CWA in broken to overcast skies outside of southern Vermont and the central/lower Connecticut River Valley. This has put a halt on surface warming with many locations holding in the mid/upper 70s. Based on these trends and incoming HRRR/RAP/NAM guidance, knocked back high temps across northern areas by a good 3-5 degrees
Brutal bullies. He always says he hates when people get offended over small things, woke culture, man up, etc… but badger him about dew points and he has to go see a therapist.
Hoping he comes back and can get past the ribbing.

It is wild… that RT 2 corridor and south shore to Cape. Can’t buy a drop.
Up here we got screwed today. West slope of Mansfield into the Champlain Valley had 0.75-1.50”… sort of split me north. West side of the mountain has had like 2-4” this week it feels like.
