  1. I think most of us appreciate the perspective of some supporting info rather than a poster just saying the data is bad. You seemed to take that personally .
  2. 90/70 at 10am in E.MA is pretty wild. That's hot.
  3. The pattern flip to markedly higher summer heat/humidity has been very noticeable. The the May-June-early July period was pleasant. Didn’t use the A/C then, but this recent stretch has been enjoyable in the sense that we finally have ditched the louder window/wall unit style game and are able to make use of the quiet heat pump system. The money is worth it now, the technology is better too. Quality of life rising, ha. A/C didn’t seem necessary up north, 10-15 years ago especially… the first half of this warm season reminded me of what I remember then. Perspective drift over the years can very much happen though.
  4. Looks like 88F here for a max off a min of 56F.
  5. That explains the lack of hustle… had one of those college dorm room stoner revelations about how small human life is in the universe
  6. That's some good stuff there.... those gusts around 1:05 and onward are wild.
  7. Yeah it’s pushing that definition when in the 90s. But the RH is there .
  8. DAW 95/57 for 28% RH. Falling into COC RH territory, haha. CON at 93/56 for 28% RH too.
  9. That’s my face when I found out the Red Sox used to hold parades when they lost in the playoffs . 85/59 at noon. Torcher.
  10. We need to go back to the time when the Red Sox we’re holding massive parades for losing. The golden days of the organization. When the fan base loved them no matter how many times they lost, loveable losers. Almost a million people turned out for a Red Sox parade they held after losing the 1986 World Series. What a wild time, can you imagine holding a parade today, in Boston, after a bad loss in the World Series… and fans were like “I’m here to show them how much we care about them win or lose.”
  11. Low of 56F this morning and already in the 80s by 10am. Going to be a hot one.
  12. Low dews up here today at peak mixing but still hot with a high of 87F. The drier air mass has led to a quick cool off this evening with sunset. Down over 20 degrees off the high to 66/61.
  13. The funny thing is for most of June and first half of July, wasn’t @Typhoon Tipmusing that the surface temps seemed cool for the heights? Like those heights had yielded big heat in certain circumstances? Seems like a disconnect between surface temps and mid-level heights at times this summer?
  14. You guys steal our snow storms regularly it feels like, half of us believe SE MA averages 150”. Don’t worry, I’ll take my 3” over 30 hours of arctic sand from a finger of H5-6 fronto… you guys enjoy the 24” in 14 hours. Doesn’t sound like fun or anything .
  15. Feels very dry up here. Surprised still 60s dews even in CNE. 86/50 for 29% RH and solidly into Chamber status.
  16. That’s wild. Wow only 0.11” in July?
  17. 84/55 and breezy. Mid-50s dews feel dry after the low 70s the past couple days.
  18. Honestly, more people probably die from high heat and humidity than from SVR or winter. Probably should stop wishing for hot temps in summer. I could get behind that one.
  19. There might be some more severe chances coming up... with very hot/humid moisture rich environments intersecting with still a background fast flow (SW/W/NW) into New England as heights suppress in southern QC.
  20. Sad news out of Maine. The severe threat seemed very well forecast by NWS and SPC, too. Just the wrong place at the wrong time, tragic. High-end heat and humidity, with some baggy heights moving through. Been a very hot and humid stretch. It's high summer.
  21. Can see the tops of the line entering into N.NH/Coos County. That thing is a surprising distance away but looks right over the Worcester Ridge.
  22. Awful photo but here it was coming over the mountain. Had to brighten it up a bit. No real wind, just torrential rainfall here now.
  23. Pitch black outside. So dark with this second line.
  24. It is hot. Finally high summer. 86/70
