  1. I had the same thought but was impressed with almost a half inch of water in under 15 minutes despite dews 50-52F. See the above posts from a couple hours ago. Don’t let the dews fool you.
  2. For all my ball busting I think odds are you are largely dry but 0.25-0.50” slight possibility. Stein’s had you locked in his basement for months now. You’re mentally and emotionally broken, tired of shitting in a five gallon bucket in the corner of the basement. The only entertainment you have is once a week Stein brings you a different Nicholas Sparks book that you clutch like it’s the Bible. You’re experiencing stockholm syndrome, starting to enjoy Stein’s company… and Scooter has told you he might know how to unlock the deadbolt on the basement door but you can’t bring yourself to even entertain the idea that there may be a way out in the future. Hopefully you get a crack in the door with this event.
  3. You better hope it rains there lol. DIT is teeing people up to blame if nothing happens. Every post feels like it’s looking for affirmation to get people to double down .
  4. Right in line… we do 6” snowfalls and 0.50” rainers very well. You still have had more than here last 10 days I bet (Didn’t Bob just get 2”?) just comes in smaller more frequent amounts up here . I’m sure it’s better for vegetation though to get 4 days of 0.50” than 90 minutes and 2.00” despite totals being the same.
  5. Surprised how much water these cells can lay down with some lackluster dew points. That was a downpour on par with like 70F dews not 50-55F.
  6. Just took a direct hit. 0.45” from this cell traveling the rare NE to SW.
  7. We get buzzed all the time at Stowe. The National Guard helicopters, planes, and the Green Mountain Boys F-35s run training flights through Smugglers Notch up here. It's absolutely bonkers sometimes to see aircraft come in Top Gun style weaving through the cliffs of the Notch. Guests always get freaked out. You never see large aircraft come through only a few hundred feet off the deck. If you are on the upper mountain they'll actually fly under you. Quick screen grab from the Gondola base terminal of a transport flight buzzing. Watching them take these things between the cliffs is wild. Gonna be a big story if one of them screws it up.
  8. Best type of days. The sneaky warm/dry summer day. Saw ORH had dews as low as 43F. Some good RH numbers out there.
  9. What a day. 82/46 for 28% RH this afternoon. Roosters are out. Four great Chamber days in a row.
  10. Feels like there are more snakebit emotional head games going on in this thread than there are in winter. Steiners need to see a shrink. Hopefully someone gets some rain. Its been over for most of CT but E.MA could get something to water the vegetation, even if it’s not 1-3”.
  11. Just busting your ballz but… There isn’t a poster on here who doesn’t believe you’d be chest thumping about warning snows back to “the river” and advisory snows to ALB… all while knowing you’d being absolutely terrified that somehow it cuts back just enough to smoke Ray with big snows while you are too far SE. Its no one’s first rodeo around here lol.
  12. 44F this morning and now up to 77F. Been very easy to drop into the mid-40s the past 2-3 mornings. Been a minute since that's happened. Before long it'll be upper 30s for mins when the Chamber weather rolls through.
  13. We love August evenings like today. Vermont C.O.C. 52/48 now.
  14. Skinny Pancake hours are tough. The lack of any open store is tough there during hours when you’d think something should be open. Then again the last time I flew I was surprised even at major airports for the lack of open stores/restaurants. Labor shortage in that service industry definitely impactful still… flying used to be an experience, even in the airport. Now its like you sit and wait until we are ready to take you somewhere… like Greyhound bus experiences were in college.
  15. 77/48 off a min of 45F. What a top 10 day. Not going to lie, glad it’s not raining today. Wildflowers blooming, bees pollinating, puffy Cu floating by.
  16. I’m assuming this is what he does for a living and might have more than one animal around. I think Fish and Game brought it to him. It was also hit by a car so maybe there’s some mess on the other side? Best guess is this wasn’t his first of the day.
  17. I thought I saw Thanksgiving stuff out in a store the other day. Might have been autumn but some Turkey decorations too. Retailers don’t hold back haha.
  18. Yeah can see that axis on Cocorahs. Looks like it hasn’t rained since though.
  19. I just looked, it was June when your area did much better relatively to others in SNE. SE CT into adjacent RI. Looks like you were just shy of 5” for June? That must’ve been what I was remembering.
  20. Ahh yeah, Ginxy was pulling inch-plus rains like they grew on trees it felt like.
  21. I thought you were like the wettest spot for a while… when Scooter was bustin your balls over rain totals. When was that?
  22. I picture 3-5 Mets in a forecast office discussing rain chances and MREF probabilities, upper air patterns and mid-level lows, etc for several hours trying to figure out if it’ll rain or storm. Meanwhile some dude in a hammock in a Taunton backyard is like “Wasting your time. Ain’t gonna rain. Hasn’t in months, why would it now.” And goes back to napping in the hammock.
