Latest LWX probabilities as of 9:15p has DC with a 84% chance of 0.1”+, 64% 1”+, 50% 2”+. Solid chances for DC and I’m ready to see my Christmas lights in snow.

Happy Thanksgiving! 24 and light snow on and off all day. Very festive as we cook.

It’s been raining here at McHenry most of the day, with bouts of heavy rain at times. 0.4” so far and 47 degrees. While it won’t be snowing throughout tomorrow night until Friday, I like our chances to see snow in the mountains, up to 1” or 2” in spots.

Thanksgiving and Black Friday continue to look cold after the front pushes through. We’re hosting about 15 family members at Deep Creek so looking forward to a cold holiday…hopefully some lake effect/upslope snow for the kids (and more importantly, me ).
