    I lived in Bristol CT back then and I only had 60 inches while a few miles north BDL had close to 90.

    Early morning inch brings us to 4 inches on the young season so far.

    It's been somewhat wintry at times the past couple weeks. Nothing major but it's something. Too bad about later next week and beyond but at least we're used to it now.

    Well I don't know. To have lived through is strong wording, since most folks live at least five to eight decades. Ten years is a long time but when the pattern is right eastern Mass gets 15 to 30 inch storms like a dog gets ticks running through the woods.

    Excuse me, you had winter of 14-15. Now that was something to have lived through for anyone more than 20 miles east of the river

    Yes the whole valley but I just think lightening won't strike twice . There may well be a similar storm someday but we probably won't get crushed when it happens.

    Two inches of 34 degree ugly wet snow. We had plenty of precip but it was just too warm Congrats to those who were a little cooler and have postcard picture snow

    Did you mean 38 TC or 1888 blizzard? An 1888 redux would just look give us good snow and wind but I would doubt there would be those huge totals in the valley .... probably be east. We wouldn't loose power and Internet for 7-12 days

    Nice light snow falling. Grass and carrots dusted up. Pretty sure these are the first flakes down here or at least the first I have seen.

    Mid 80s on 11/6 is ridiculous, it doesn't even look November until further notice. I'm looking for 20s in the morning and upper 40s to mid 50s for highs and some overcast days without a southerly wind. What a terrible day all around. God help us

    As a matter of fact I have been enjoying a hot pumpkin spice coffee in a hooded sweatshirt the past two mornings before I take my walk. In fact I haven't been on in a few weeks, especially when almost everyday is COC and the future looks like unlimited COC. Hippy was right about the back of summer being broken. The last half of August was pretty nice and the predictions of a wild hurricane season are starting to be in question.

    I wonder if these events are likely to be more common if that will get most folks a shot at something like this over the next couple decades. Also that part of CT was ground zero in more than a few of the bigger snow events back in the 2000-2018 period.

    We got whacked pretty good with storms over the past hour or so. Torrential downpours and a decent amount of thunder..Some minor street flooding

    It's always refreshing to come back here and read a few pages to really know what's going on with the weather....With all the crazy Twitter posts and YouTube videos regarding this event I was thinking I needed to build an arc this week
