  1. I remember delivering newspapers in seventh grade in minus two temps with a freshening northerly breeze so wc had to be minus 25 or more on a Saturday morning in January and pretty sure the ground was bare
  2. Nominate for best Post of the month, perhaps year.
  3. We can't squeeze out an inch of waa snow before the rain overnight and tomorrow? To me that's more fckd up than a SE graze in this kind of pattern
  4. Nice solid coating at the end Wintry day here in the tropical interior
  5. Ugh lures too....watch out for those treble hooks
  6. Better than I expected. 2.5 or so before the flip Light drizzle, occasional light rain.... occasionally freezing. 32
  7. Well those who are lucky enough to get some accumulating snow will get to look at it for awhile....be nice if we could get a nice region wide Miller A or B with this cold coming up but that looks doubtful. I told my neighbor yesterday not to be surprised if there's only two slushy inches and now that seems like a fantasy lol Cloudy chilly start though 28. Certainly looks like a snow sky for the time being.
  8. Steelwagon bank blow ups still might make Ray and some other central Eastern and Northern folk happy.
  9. Its been one of the most normal falls I can remember in ages. If we get some snow and cold in December at some point we will be fine. I think its gonna be a more normal winter. I'm so glad we really haven't had the screaming southeastern.
  10. Geoff Nancy and Dr Mel the WTNH trio for me as a kid and if memory serves correct Keith Kountz and Mark Davis were news anchors at the time and Mike Bogaslowski who was always in YOUR CORNER! Such good memories
  11. I feel so bad for all the times I tooled on him over the years. He really was a big part of my TV weather experience growing up. RIP Geoff.
  12. No Stein issues here. Well over an hour of heavy rain with some thunder and lightning. A few gusts and marginally threatening sky before the deluge. I'm thinking close to two inches of rain....lots of minor flooding/ponding on roadways
  13. 51F pouring rain at times over the past hour....what a wonderful day! Impressive for 8/20 with precip. I'm not being sarcastic, I love this kind of a break during a generally warm muggy summer.
  14. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw as many as another half dozen days here in the lower valley where we flirt with 90. Seems pretty easy to do down here
  15. 5 days out this way by CEF...stat padders but all 90-93F
  16. Hope they all miss the USA.....the fish can afford them but most Americans can't
