    That was brutal back here but that's just how it is back here a lot. That's a huge move east by the GFS though especially if its the start of a trend for some of us back here

    I get the possible issues in my hood but almost all of jersey in the big qpf , I wonder why that isn't easily stretching northeast across all of Westchester county NY and Fairfield county CT. Unless the Icon hasn't caught up to that yet?

    He was a negative Nancy with snowstorms it always seemed like to me. They were never going to be a big deal or just a glancing blow. I will never forget the day after the Feb 1983 him eating crow on the radio as the state was buried . Think he lived to be 91 though.

    Light sleet...a few flakes 1.5 inches in under an hour Didn't expect more than some pellets and a few flakes before just some rain. Best rates and snow growth of the season or close to it.

    Pray for deformation, even a glancing blow from it. Might be all we have.

    6-8 would still be pretty good considering what's not happening today and didn't happen Wednesday. No one wants to see a deform band of 2-4/hr goodies parked overhead with awesome snow growth more than we do. We just have to pray. I'm sick of these messenger shuffles!!!!!

    They were both equally as bad now that time has elapsed as far as I am concerned . Well who knows maybe in this twilight zone winter of a mammoth country wide SWFE and snow onk southerly winds maybe something will go right and help to erase or at least quell some of those 15 and 22 nightmares.

    I totally get his worry. We have been through a lot WOR and lower Pioneer Valley and while the better winters in these zones were good they were nowhere near as EOR . I have factored in things which reduce snow on its own in these areas.

    Hasn't one of these big models continued to double down up until about 30 hours from game time and then joined the rest of the team that had been already well out to sea for days? I feel like this happened fairly recently. So there could be almost two more days of this with the GFS or more if the system slows down a little.

    Is Friday Night really just a mirage? The p/c says 1 to 3 possible. If we got an inch on the front then sleet and rain then an inch or two of snow it will at least look wintry this weekend
