  1. There was a storm in 1966 I think, it's in the KU book, that had a somewhat similar distribution.
  2. Windy windy windy!! That forecast definitely verified. Must have been a few gusts near 50 and lots 30-40. Impressive.
  3. It blows my mind this streak in the metro Boston area but when you guys do northeasters right, you guys really do them right. I hope you guys get a good storm in the next month or so.
  4. Yes. On grass and cold surfaces. I'm also only about two or three miles from the CT border as the crow flies
  5. When I say there's often a big difference from BDL to here with these southern passing events I am not kidding
  6. Yes of course they've advanced but there's still room for error. Should be locked in across the board by now.
  7. We did back in Feb 87 and Feb 89, I remember those Heartbreakers like it was yesterday. One big difference was we had man cold in place
  8. I've seen this movie before. This will be a southern coastal plain storm with enough around here to be annoying
  9. Be nice to see an old fashioned storm go from Hatteras to Gulf of Maine giving everyone from Virginia to northern Maine a good snowstorm and with a legit cold air mass in place. It has been so long.
  10. Bristol/Southington def does better on average. I lived in Bristol for 30 years. The River valley is a whole other beast.
  11. The only thing that would have made 2013 better for me was if it was during the day. Since I moved into the area in 04-05, it's the only legit 20 inch plus event here, anything from 21 to 24 would be acceptable for a storm total here
  12. I was watching some video, it's just insane. Near zero vis at times.
  13. That's a monster storm. I think you could say you had 30 inches and be very realistic. How did you do in the clipper a few days later and did your overall depth increase?
