  1. I think we just got more than a tenth of an inch of rain. Was torrential for a few minutes along with a little sleet.
  2. Renegade rain shower just now! Ugh that will slicken things up by dawn.
  3. You know what I admire about you more than your writing and explanation of weather phenomenon? You are not afraid to speak your mind. I just thought no one would ever have the balls to bring up the other side of snow making especially with all the skiers on the site. You rock!
  4. He was the first one to call the 80 degree wx on Wednesday. Have to give credit where it's due. He's actually been right a bunch of times when it mattered.
  5. If it was winter.....Taunton be buried to the telephone polls
  6. Wow that weather that you don't like I welcome with open arms. Relief starts Sunday, it's just too warm and muggy out for this time of year.
  7. Need a snow event like this but less qpf, the whole slow moving back building kind of thing and buries just about everyone region wide....18 to 30 area wide lollis to 40 or so for the usual spots like Taunton and NYC and Berks. Not a ton of wind and during the daytime so we get the best views
  8. Those point and click forecasts are something else....A 50 percent chance of showers this afternoon
  9. Occasional sprinkle, nice breeze though. Beautiful overcast, nice hooded sweatshirt kind of day. I'll take this almost every day if I could.
  10. I hope it misses Atlantic Canada too. Those folks have had enough bad luck.
  11. One of the more impressive thunderstorms this evening. Amazing to me anyways for nearly mid September.
  12. I could like this post a hundred times. Finally some reason! I have been through it with the October snowstorm of 2011 and I wouldn't wish the experience on anyone. There's plenty of reason to be a hobbyist just because one doesn't want to see destruction and suffering. I just don't get it.
  13. Good. There's been enough misery for folks with flooding. Send it out to sea as there's no need for folks to be hurt.
  14. With the rain forecast this week any kind of a brush is asking for trouble.
  15. Hours of thunder and lightning but just a few sprinkles....a little more rain last night but same kind of thing... They're all around us though
  16. No. Hooded sweatshirts, Highs in the 50s and 60s. Lows 30s/40s. Beautiful leaves and pumpkins.
  17. Tomorrow's the last nice day before summer blasts back...wake me up in October
  18. It's fine the ground is soaked, the trees don't need any help in falling down.
