    might be that I didn't actually measure here, and what I saw was already compacted. Plus from what I am seeing online, reports 8-9" all around here. so it could be correct, and I could certainly be wrong.

    finished the last mow/leaf cleanup about 30 seconds before the squall hit. Still need to drop the winterizer, might have to wait until tomorrow

    I had nearly 2’ on the ground Xmas Eve of 2020. Completely wiped out by Christmas morning. now that was a screamer. I think @backedgeapproaching had the best images of it. by best I mean the most depressing.

    up here, I average about 2.5" in November over the last 18+ years. and i have had 6 with 0.0" of snow. so no, November is not a winter month.

    got down to 22 this morning. ground was a little crunchy, first hard frost of the year. of course i forgot to unhook the garden hose from the spigot, so now that is a frozen rope.
