Finished with 1.10” . Just didn’t understand the heavy rain and flood calls. This wasn’t that setup . Dry out the next 4-5 days before the dews and tropics and rains spread back in later Saturday thru much of next week. Foliage season is over
foliage season is over already? Man, Tolland truly is a magical place. leaves are still green up here.

"Only" 3.25" MTD, all of that in the last 6 days

0.02" so far today. mushrooms in the lawn are wilting, the sand that washed out from culverts over the summer is almost dry. pretty soon I will be asking @Lava Rock and @TauntonBlizzard2013for lawn tips

was at an outdoor wedding yesterday. nice day and all, but I was sweating for 5 hours straight.
only 1/2” rain so far this month, which is right on cue as I overseeded the lawn last weekend.
picked up over 1” in about 1/2 hour this morning, 1.75” on the day so far.

Has anyone noticed all the trees with leaves just turning brown? Almost every species has a ton of browning leaves and dropping
i have seen it on maples, birches, and what few ash trees are left. Oaks haven't dropped any, but they won't drop them til what, December?

Well that’s social media. I’m talking about this thread. I get that people are imby here so if it’s not a category four over your head it’s meh and boring, but this is worthy of tracking with expectations in check.
To be clear—I’m not saying that folks should only talk about the hit possibilities. I appreciate the analysis about the continued less than “ideal” troughing from some, or the need to move past 70W, or there being too many moving pieces to feel confident in any additional westward shift, but that’s what I want to see. Analysis.
you must be new here.
