You have your team of landscapers poisoning the ground because of...wasps? wtf
if you’ve never run over a nest and been chased/stung by dozens of winged assholes, you wouldn’t understand.

Run an extension cord and use a shop vac on the ground bees . Thump on the ground to get em to all come out. No need to pour a bunch of chemicals on the lawn.... oh wait
then what? What do you do with a shop vac full of murder bees?

But what if I spray the killer into the holes and quickly cover?
just spray and run. They’ll be gone in a day or so. I’ve done several ground nests that way. no problemo

That happened to me, I had a long sleeve shirt and on and they were up my arms, I never ran so fast into the house, my arms had several stings. I waited until nighttime, and I sprayed the hole.
yeah, but did you spray the bees nest?

The energy star guidelines that came out this summer say that you should have it at 78 during the day, 82 at night, and 85 when you are away. I guess they want us to uninstall and never reinstall. https://www.tomsguide.com/news/thermostat-recommended-temperature I'm also 72 during the day and 68 at night.
yeah, no. I use AC to be cool not hot. Those guidelines are frickin stupid

Alright, what’s the east section to buy tickets to a pats game that isn’t going to break the bank?.
Like the best nosebleeds
Take out a second mortgage for the 100 sections. 200 sections are decent but not cheap. 300 sections are less expensive, but it can take a while to get to/from your seats up there. Also, just so you know the top row in the 300 section is really far from the field and really high. when they do a flyover, you can see the top of the planes from those seats.
The best way is to go through Seat Geek and buy just prior to gametime.
either way, expect to pay over $100/seat. I buy whatever seats are the absolute cheapest and walk around/stand to watch. There are some great vantage points. plus people watching

We live in the literal worst times.
85% of the town is in favor of it and some dumb select board votes no.

Make the statue
i kind of get their reasoning. the dog had no connection to the town, other than being there 1 day a year. i think the owner should put it on private property. The article says that he has several offers.

yes I old. but this was early evening after the sun went down. my nipples got hard. truthfully, that could have been caused by the chill, the bug spray, the mosquitoes, or me just thinking of you

was sitting outside for a couple hours this afternoon. I almost had to put on a sweatshirt. I came back inside so DIT wouldn’t be weeping.

Sad.
Reminds me of when I was just out of college, I found a badly injured deer on the side of the road. Called F&G and the Warden came out, dispatches the deer, then turns to me (driving like a small 1991 Volvo sedan) and asks “Do you want it?” I was like do I want what? He goes, the deer you idiot. I look at him, the deer and then my car and I’m like, what in my backseat? He’s like never mind I’ll call someone. lol.
Weed?
i hit a deer once. well technically, the deer hit me. ran right into the drivers side door of my truck. Dumbass. no injuries for me, my truck, or the deer.

All great. Now the "rock" out there just makes outies become innies.
if you like rock, check out Volbeat. they have some great tunes-and some rather edgy ones as well.

I’ve been in my house for 4 years. Year 1: wheelbarrows full but in the fall and giant acorns. Years 2 & 3: not much. now year 4: tiny acorns in July…
every year that I have small acorns during the summer, there are just as many giant acorns in the fall. don't worry, it's going to happen

Anyone else under absolute bombardment from acorns?
i have some tiny acorns under one of my oaks. i have a couple oaks, they seem to alternate heavy acorns year to year. one doesn't produce too many acorns, but the other one just dumps them. a couple years ago I picked up 3 wheelbarrows full of nothing but acorns.
