  1. I’m wondering when the next swfe or redeveloper will hit, with a high of 35, low of 25 for a well above normal mean temp but good snow?
  2. Btw, I miss the you that would lollies to 8 on a little open wave. I hope we get that again.
  3. I was responding to his comment about the models. I made my thoughts clear about what I think, but of course I could be wrong.
  4. Yes, and I do think we haven't experienced our deepest pack yet. I understand the pessimism from many; it is well-deserved, but that isn't an awful pattern for up here, though it pretty much ends winter in the Mid Atlantic although they could always get a late storm or two that melts fast.
  5. same old same old, with possibilities the further north you go. big EPO
  6. The one just after with a scooter 1029 in Quebec
  7. Bro, we was kidding it’s it’s earlier, at least intimating that the pattern going forward though might be warm. Should offer chances because Canada stays cold. It’s 12 days out but it’s good to see things show up on the models even though we know they’ll change. Just shows there’s potential with cold nearby.
  8. -25 would require the windo to die off so I hope it doesn’t. I’ve had 20 below both in Webster and Boscawen.
  9. That is broadly what I thought was the situation. That will bring shots of snow to all or most of New England. The panic is undignfied for New England. Scooter highs and such. Maybe the Chiefs losing will bring a "Scooter high."
  10. Ok, we have the cold shot, we warm up. But then what happens? I think we are AN for a week or two, but does that really stick, is that it? I doubt it. I'm not seeing much discussion about the 2nd half of February and assuming that is because it doesn't look like there will be many opportunities. However, will it still be cold in Canada? It doesn't take a lot to get it to snow in NE in February when there is cold nearby.
  11. at 15 below the trees won't bear fruit that year, but they'll live.
  12. Pretty bad downside risk here for my dogwood and my peaches. Gonna wrap them on Friday with burlap to see if that helps. With a 12+ snowpack, if the wind drops at the wrong time, -25 is a possibility. Not a fan of -20, but it is inevitable every 10 years or so up here.
  13. Lets see how this develops. Dry is not a guarantee, especially as the cold quickly relaxes. But if we get warm and it is sunny - great! Winter probably coming back in late Feb I'd guess.
  14. I understand you hate the Chiefs. That would've/should've been called in any situation and on anybody. I think you have an emotional bias here. But I accept you as the enemy of my enemy.
  15. Don't worry baby; we got this. The former Mark_in_Philly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXcaqfeeICk
  16. How the eff do commit that penalty when the situation is so precarious. They had to make that call, it was obvious and not even close.
  17. a 7 incher, a 15 incher and then a 3.5 incher. I know its hard for you...Oh and the 5-6 incher (11 for Brian) a few weeks earlier. Not a great year, but it looks and feels like mid winter here. And will for a while. Don't cry for me Argentina.
  18. truly loving my deep snowpack which will only firm up for the next week. I wish you had one, and hope you will soon.
  19. in all honesty that looks awful except there is a big EPO ridge pushing into Alaska and a ridge near the pole, so there is some cold air to tap at lucky times?
  20. are the orange and red numbers snow in meters?
  21. I average about 70, Jeff a little more. Gene maybe 80? I have over 40 already, Brian has a bit more
