Noticing that weather underground now has 5 to 8 inches overnight and 5 to 8 tomorrow. That is a pretty good increase from what was 3 to 5 inches for each period. At this rate, though we will have 5 inches shortly after midnight. I don’t know if we’re going to have this sort of snow growth all night but the radar looks fantastic.

Snow growth seems to be really really good, so I imagine the ratios are better than you might expect with these temperatures

There are those lilies to 15. those lollipops? Moderate snow becoming heavy here. Already an inch in pretty quick order. Wpc has more QPF for this storm than Wednesday Thursday.

As crappy as I thought the radar looked in the last storm, it looks really good tonight with lots of precipitation to come and developing as it approaches. Those 12 spots will happen.

WPC still enthusiastic about Wednesday. Strong storm and 1"qpf up here. But my area definitely on the line, probably moreso than tonight. Hope we can somehow trend this better for many because it looks like a fairly dynamic system.

The place I used to go when I lived in Philly, was Quebec City in early February during their winter carnival. What a place! And lots and lots of snow in a great environment.

Yea temps are busting. We have quite a snow load on trees but perhaps the storm will be windy enough?

I'm high on snow. The scene is so great up here now. Long walks in the woods, up to ridge tops, and in parts of the woods that I don't go at other times due to moisture, ticks, mosquitos. It is so awesome around here, and the thought of a thicker cover, and pack that could last a few weeks has me all fired up lol. You really should up to the Lakes area this week. Take the kids snow hiking, or just beg your wife for a day to drive up and chill.

lots of the mesos have it, and doesn't the nam? I think from me to you is probably the max zone in this storm.

also some random flakes on the walk this morn. atmosphere is moistened up and snow should come in fast and hard I would think. temp is low 20s and hard to see it getting too much past 30 today.

Yes I think we are narrowed in and locked for 6-10, but I think 8-12 is very much on the table. Look at that radar man.
