  1. 10.5" light-mod snow, small flakes. Bands coming together again it appears so perhaps a run at a foot.
  2. well...I did say 8-12 based on the set up and how the radar looked yesterday. I wouldn't mind my lolli to 15, and I suppose that is still possible.
  3. looks like we both might be missing a big band to our west shortly. is that subsidence? If so, I'm content with almost 11"
  4. I'm surprised and grateful that the wind hasn't gotten going here. Just measured, up to 10" now and in a heavy band.
  5. upping the lollies to 18, back to 2+/hour. you can see the pivoting back here with some heavy bands starting to back a little bit.
  6. Brian do you mind putting up that radar with the chicken and eagle again? Gracias.
  7. I hope you get it man. It had slowed to like an inch an hour, but now it is just pounding again. And whatever I get will hit you for an additional couple of hours.
  8. It’s a real good burst. That 12+ band was real. I have a hard time believing this goes all day like gyx was saying.
  9. Yup. 1.5” in 30 minutes confirmed, but has slowed a bit so was probably 4”/hour for maybe 15 minutes
  10. I think it’s 3” an hour and I’ve cleared a couple of spots to measure I have missed deformation band snow.
  11. Pounding easily 3”hour. 1” from 8:35-9:30 for a total of 7 but dramatic increase in rates last few minutes and radar looks even better.
  12. The real stuff is coming, and the snow growth continues to improve here as well. Going out to walk and measure. Will send pics for the needy.
  13. I have to say I’m enthusiastic about today looking at radar. The. Dry slot in central mass is slipping off east and there are good returns to our west and a strengthening storm. Maybe we get into a deform band with 2/hour for a bit later. Light snow but steady and accumulating small flakes but growth slowly improving.
  14. Nice in the overnight from GYX National Weather Service Gray ME 329 AM EST Mon Jan 23 2023 ...WIDESPREAD MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOWFALL THROUGH MONDAY... .Low pressure will cross the Gulf of Maine today, continuing and in some cases increasing snowfall over the region. Although there will be somewhat of a lull during the first part of the day as the storm undergoes a bit of a transition entering the Gulf of Maine, the storm will strongly amplify and renew heavy snowfall over the warned area through today. Snowfall rates exceeding an inch per hour will be possible as banded snowfall organizes and translates across the forecast area by this afternoon and through the evening, bringing significant travel impacts for the entire day, particularly through the I-95 corridor and into the urbanized areas of southern New Hampshire during the evening commute. Snow will end from west to east through the evening hours as the system pulls away from New England. Gusty northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph will also be in play today and tonight, which may lead to a few power outages where wet and sticky snow from this morning clings to trees and power outage
  15. Wpc upping qpf to >1.25 for wed thurs but I think some of that is likely liquid after a good front end dump
  16. Noticing a pivot is starting as direction of more up is now more south north than west east
  17. I noticed snow growth has improved in the last 15 minutes. Hope we can hold off the changeover, although it will change back to the higher ratio deformations know if GYX is correct.
  18. Not sure how much. Looking out window maybe4-5? Gyx very enthusiastic for the day. starting to ge breezy
